Point taken. When you block south- and west-facing panels, though, you are effectively blocking all panels for those homes. The analogy was not to road usage, but to improving upon and giving new life to an old, outdated, environmentally unsustainable thing.

That’s weird, I expressly said “block,” not “block all,” so that English speakers could understand that I didn’t mean “block all.” And then I linked to the source material for further clarity.
