To be fair the upkeep on rural lines is high. Coops cant afford to keep up lines to rural customers if the customers arent paying.
The idea that a single solution works everywhere is naive. We should think about how to choose the best options that work best for everyone, including the non-wealthy. Especially them, since wealthier people can afford workarounds.
