I’m not sure why you would think that, much less what you think it has to do with what I wrote.
I assure you, if you stand at any four way stop sign, 90% of motor vehicles passing through do not come to a full stop. Because it’s fine when a car rolls through at 4mph, but people fill their diapers in rage if a bike rolls through at 4mph.
We’d be lucky if Hui’s life was worthy of 30 hours of community service, if Chris were driving a car when he hit him.
Hahaha bullshit. I’ve lived in San Diego my whole life and seeing a car come to a full and complete stop at stop sign is the exception, not the rule.
Good luck getting American cops or DAs to do that.
Wishing you well on your TOEFL test.
Counterpoint: Charge people who break the law, like opening a car door into traffic (causing a fatality) or fatally running someone over, then leaving the scene.
Not excusing any of this behavior (and SF and Oakland do seem to have more than their share of asshole cyclists), but have you tried keeping track of traffic laws broken by car and truck drivers as well?
Here’s a radical idea:
start charging people criminally for running over cyclists and pedestrians
Americans think running over bikers is cool and good. Just wait for the comments on this article.
The jury must have been filled with old white men scared shitless about losing their own jobs.
I have no take on the trials, their outcome, or the payouts.
Fuckin hell, I’m a mediocre middle-aged white man, where do I get in on this shit?
1) Antifa aren’t terrorists
2) Antifa isn’t an organization
3) Imagine being a grown-ass man and unironically referring to yourself as a “Proud Boy”
4) Joe Biggs was banned from Twitter and is back. Because Twitter.com is a hellscape.
Just got to your first duty station, I see.
I didn’t mention the WRX. Or any other car, for that matter. I just made a joke about oversimplification in a complex world.
Same goes for you, smart guy
Cedric wanted to fight me in high school for drinking all of his beer at a party. I hopped the fence and ran away before he found me. I always rooted for him after that. What a senseless way to go for him and his passenger. Watch out for bikes dammit.
