Atelier series makes me think of Fahey. RIP big guy, glad you’re not around to suffer through this herby AI takeover attempt.

I know, I get it. But it feels worse with these subscription games - your pocket is constantly under assault for a product you get nothing but misery out of.
This argument always get a chuckle out of me as a Sonic fan.
“shear”
December 2023: “The story missions weren’t as well received by the audience as we hoped, so we decided to cancel the rest and focus on the PvP part.”
Exactly. Metal doesn’t spontaneously sheer like that. Someone had to be ignoring clear signs of stress for some time.
clearlyLooking at the image, the crack isn’t on a weld line; it’s a failure in the vertical post starting above where the diagonal joins it. It’s clearly a stress-focus fracture, but it’s not a weld failure. I would think an outside diagonal would support the stress better, but I'm not a mechanical engineer.
The fact that routine ‘daily’ inspections missed damage this catastrophic — and by all accounts, for over a week — would mean that *NONE* of the rides in the park are safe. Because their ‘inspections’ aren’t worth shit. And both the owners of the park *AND* the inspection staff need to be brought up on charges of…
“As part of our comprehensive safety protocols, all rides, including Fury 325, undergo daily inspections to ensure their proper functioning and structural integrity.”
I just really want to roll this game back to 2017-18 where it was an amazing sweet spot in terms of roster, kits, and mechanics/composition. Some of this stuff I could be disappointed by but let side if the game was still delivering a fantastic game experience, but it’s just not as fun as it was
Given maintenance teams are supposed to visually inspect the track on coasters every day before giving the goahead to operate and the crack was visibly forming at least a week before it was caught, you've got to wonder what the Hell they were looking at during those track walks.
Not in this case, Blizzard created a ton of lore and interesting characters that players latched onto, with the promise of building up a story that would supplement not just the property, but eventually PVE modes that Blizzard insisted was the reason they had to completely rework the game as it is and shutting down…
They aren’t getting a penny from me. These are just new Archives missions they used to give each year for FREE! With no replayability; I’ll save $15 and watch a YouTube of it.
Was there when the park opened on July 1st and the ride was already shut down. Videos of the crack were spreading like wild fire on local news the night before and I think caused a lot of people to change their weekend plans. For one of what I would assume would have been the biggest weekends for the park, it felt…
If they keep going to this park, it probably won’t even need to be for that long.
I wonder if that’s an engineering error in addition to the structural failure? Thanks to the action shot you can see how that part is probably getting stressed in ways not intended.
Stop playing this game, people. Just stop. Just stop letting this game company hurt you, I’m begging you. None of you seem happy, but the only thing that would actively send a message they would actually respond to is if enough of you just stopped playing to prove a point.
Just stop playing!
(Pokémon players, this goes…
I think Overwatch fans who are still supporting them should be treated for Stockholm syndrome
