Your console will require an internet connection (but not an XBL Gold or Ps+ subscription) for the game to go past the title screen. To match up with people and play co-op, you will need that sub. I don’t see how that’s confusing.

I mean, int he current era where you have Super Bowl commercials for the newest COD; big games using well established IPs (Marvel, Disney, HP); and mega-publishers throwing insane advertising budgets at things, I think there is a case to be made that this game is at least “not mainstream”.
