I’m not a religious person, though I understand and appreciate what religion brings to people’s lives. That said, I think padding your pockets off of the word of God is lower than low.

I’m not religious, and I agree that especially people who become rich and powerful from leadership positions in religion are generally shit, but I’ve met far too many people of different faiths for whom their beliefs provide a framework for living better lives.

After the events of 2016, can we please stop referring to horrible people becoming the nominees of the opposing party as any kind of gift? It’s not a gift until we’ve won, if nothing else.
