I was considering sharing this with my students as well. The story is such a good illustration that plagiarism is in fact a big deal with serious consequences. It may also help drive home the fact that, yes, paraphrasing without accreditation is still plagiarism.

I would say you’ve compiled a pretty accurate list here, Kirk. I find particular resonance with entries 1, 3, and 5. But especially those huge damn bees! They made my repeated journeys to the Hive Knight so much worse!
