Yup nevermind the fact that parking in SF or NY means no effin way your bumper will remain scratch-free. But hey, don’t let facts get in the way of your remarks.

Well there’s one in Japan for less than 1 mil.

Ah okay. Thanks for clearing that up.

Nothing against you...But it’ll never be as magical as the E30 M3, or even the E36 M3. It’s just a good looking car with a meh suspension setup. Yes the suspension can be made quite a bit better(same for boosting/stroking etc etc) but the same can be said of boxsters and Z3 of the same era, and those things are way

So this driver is full of it I guess? Not sure because I’ve never been to Lime Rock and don’t know what each section’s speed should be for certain level of power/weight ratio..

That’s the terminator with the supercharged 4.6V8 right?

IMO it makes it somewhat pointless, since it’s not appreciably lighter and features the same engine, and is probably still going to be detuned, while probably costing almost the same as the M4.

That was partially a jab at his comment. But realistically speaking, all of the versions since the OG have been NOT homologated specials. They were made more to make money for BMW then for racing purposes. IIRC all the subsequent M3s that were entered in GTS/GTR racing or similar were far removed from the street

Past M3 CS was not limited ed(just a handling package pretty much). Not sure if this can be considered a handling package since power plant is completely different..

It stopped being a REAL M3 the moment the E36 M3 came out. Only the first gen was a bonafide homologation special.

Jason, so what happened in the end to all those previous “What car should I buy” questions? It’s the same thing as the “Find out what car this part came from to help solve the hit and run” questions years ago. We never do see the results??

That Tyrrell is amazing. Then again I’d be hard pressed to not just go buy the TSM version that’s even more detailed..

You mean the GT3? Just go to lego.com and do the backorder. I literally just went and it says you can backorder it and they’ll ship it by 9/26. The F40 is available right now from lego too for 100.

Reminds me of how some work places you can put whatever you want and have no need to worry that someone will steal it, while other places, ehhh, best of luck. Yours must be the former. One of my former job site is the latter haha.

There’s a GT S at work, and I thought that was way better proportioned than the SLS. I really do not like a long hood/short deck design. It’s like steering a freaking speed boat...

Front overhang is way shorter on the prototype, fwiw.

I don’t think it’s even possible to get lb.ft of torque more than the Literx100 if it’s NA, not turbo/SC’d. Yeah I know that just a plain bad way to simplify it, but no matter how good engineers got, it’s always hp being very high, but never torque.

Yeah I know, I was replying to Ad_’s comment about the death in Bay area a few days ago.

Are you in Europe? Asking since we don’t get C180 here in the States.

Yup, I think I drove that a few years ago. I was driving my STI back then, so that of course was more forgiving. I’m not sure I’d want to take my current RWD on that road on any day other than absolutely dry condition if I want to drive more spiritly.
