The fact that EPA is not going after diesel trucks as hard as passenger cars doesn’t mean passenger car NoX emissions need not be controlled. And what’s this? “The EPA limit for NOx emission is so close to zero, that multiplying the permissible emissions leaves us still pretty darn close to zero.”

I’d say mediocre in reliability. And with this, there’s no way the TDIs will continue to have the same power after the fix. That and seriously every Turbo diesel has shit ton of torque. That’s just how turbo diesels are.

I always wonder why people still buy them since they can be quite reliable or so very not. Hmm.

Oh the jealous muricans are out making fun of us again. Joy!

Oh boy, the seriously hardcore VW fanboys are out in droves. You do know it’s a lot more exciting to be a fanboy for something else, like Ferrari, right?

Because ppl love them diesel brown manual wagons that’s why.

Sounds like you need to focus on something else :P

Guess someone peed in your cereal this morning :D

I test drove a FiST and I wasn’t that surprised by the acceleration, FWIW.

It’s a badge. I’d get it anyway as I don’t stare at the badge/sit outside the car when I’m driving it...

C63 is only 85k when you tack on the options. Barebone vers out the door is still in the low 70s. 911’s start at 84 and again, get to 100k if you go with the CS or pile on the options.

The C63 S or not is RWD only. You’re probably thiking of the E63, so no, the C has no traction advantage, just power. In fact C AMGs have never had AWD, so there’s that too.

That’s what I thought too. I wish I could go into the convention center and look around. Last time I was there was during the olympics and of course it was off-limit.

Bah! You’re just almost 30. I passed that several years ago. Man I feel old...

Those that do remember are all in their 30’s and 40’s now. I’m one of them. Yeah I’m old too LOL

Agreed. Damn you Google!

Whoops sorry my bad. I kinda skipped over the “the cusp of” part :P

If you’re already 60 and your kids have kids already, what are you worried about anyway? As they say YOLO; Don’t drive like a 17 yr old and you won’t end up in jail.

Anyone can “afford” to test drive the LS. There are quite a few here( who’s something beside dentist/doctor/attorney) who can actually buy one...with cash of course.

Actually, technically the only “correct” location would be smack dab in the very center of the car. As long as the engine is anywhere else(even rear mid-engine), it is not the best location.
