Speaking of backing out of your driveway, the GT3's suspension also poses another major problem: ground clearance. Although the owner of this car gave me the exact ground clearance figure, presumably measured in millimeters to the nearest thousandth, I've forgotten it. So I'll give you a rough estimate: the GT3's

All that aluminum and it's just 15kg lighter than the 328i. And it comes with that blasted round shifter. Brilliant LOL

Crowd-sourced and apparently most enthusiasts think a freakin front-engined RWD car is better than a mid-engined one. Other than having more crash structure, what's the point of having the engine in front instead of the middle??

Who knows, remember the flood of ford articles all of a sudden recently? That was never explained either. I mean we still get articles for an infamous tuner on here regularly...

Not sure of their rationale, but the good thing about not going the big screen route for everything is that some basic functions like air circulation(as is the case with the C class) are still kept as physical buttons, and in case the COMAND fails/malfunctions, those still work.

Knew about this years ago. So as much as I like buying a new car, I keep the air blowing at near max and windows open when it's hot outside. A good thing with buying an used car because none of this is an issue...

truly inspiring enthusiast vehicle=new XC90. LOL WTH. Oh I can't wait to see the maintenance nightmare that one gets with turbo+supercharger+electric motor :D

That is not a dealbreaker for those who would buy the car anyway. Those who would complain about it aren't going to buy it even if it did have a much more elegant/integrated control screen, so it really doesn't matter.

Yeah it's a bit faster but then the miata is also 400lbs lighter, and for a small roadster that is all about being light I'd pick the lighter car any day of the week.

They're the same as people in UK/HK/Aus :P

It might be Japanese in Aukland which is definitely possible. I don't doubt your ability to discern what they're speaking but I still think they're speaking Japanese :P

Dunno, I think I've found my motivation to practice on my unicycle :D

They're speaking Japanese if I'm not mistaken, so no, it looks like it was in Japan.

nvm found my own answer, same amount of boost. Then again we have no idea why Benz chose/stuck with less power from same boost, because for all we know they'd rather not push the M178 as hard...

And how much boost is that 4.0 V8 in the Audi getting?

It takes more psi to squeeze the same amount of power out of a smaller displacement as a larger displacement engine. DI only does so much. Don't know what you were expecting. There's nothing they or anyone can do to overcome the displacement deficit.

All of Jaguar's reliability now coupled with aluminum structure, at the same price as the 3/C, getting somewhat better mpg and the bonus of that blasted circular shifter puck. And that shape is just a shrunken down XJ, just as exciting/boring(depending on your view) as the new C class. What could be better /sarcasm

Right, except that one can be viewed by tourists and still remains a great attraction for many, whereas this is going to reside in this guy's living room/garage and most unlikely viewable only to himself and his (close) friends.
