steering heavy as hell? Come on Patrick, this is nothing. Even a lowly NA Miata with no power steering is much more work than this. You need to work out more.

Typical American big displacement engine - Check (One of the largest NA motors). Typical muscle car formula "big engine in a small car" - Check (Smallest MB fitted with the Largest Motor). Typical transmission that is a few years behind - check - (The 7 speed AMG auto is outdated by several years compared to anything

I'd get a base miata, not like the higher end models gets more power anyway, just more convenience options and the PRHT, neither of which I cannot live without.

Okay that makes sense. You might be better off just importing one from the US.

Do you know any particular replacement screen that is good? I think it's time to dig out my ancient GBA and get this modded. Pretty sure it'll soon end up back in the box again with me just wasted money for nothing, but hey what the heck :P

hp!=lb.ft. I'd pick the M5/6 as the example because those make a lot more torque than the M3/4, because really, that's basically the amount of torque a NA 5.0L engine would make, which really isn't that much.

Hmm fair enough.

Really. You expect them to charge 15k CAD for the base model? I want to live in the same alternate world where a miata should somehow be cheaper than a Hyundai GT. WTH.

In the long run, if you keep leasing vehicles that cost about the same (e.g. the E92 M3), you'd still end up spending more money compared to buying with cash.

You're seriously saying cost/maintenance are cheaper/easier than a slushbox, let alone a manual? Looks like someone needs to do more research.

Good point heh.

I'd be much more interested if it were a mid-engine RWD manual car, because those are MUCH harder to find below 60k. If this end up costing 50k+, why would I buy it over a 370Z/Caterham 7/Locost/etc? I can understand the attraction of the Rally Fighter because that really is one of a kind, but this? Meh.

If you liked it so much why get a brand new one? Just keep the old one. Sounds like your job(e.g. sales) allows you to write it off as business expense. If you're not privy to such perk, I wonder if you'd still be so gung ho about getting a new M3. BTW not trolling.

All I hear is sad attempts at making rebuttal and calling me hitler to try to change the subject at hand. Excellent way to win an argument! /sarcasm

Are you allowed to post their article with their permission? Just sayin'...

Why not just get another Highlander then? I'd stick with what worked before and not look for another model/brand, unless you do not want to get another highlander ever again.

Don't let the pesky fact about them driving in the unrestricted part of the autobahn get in the way of your smartass remarks. No, really. Ever heard of the phrase "De mortuis nihil nisi bonum"? Go look that up. Rhetorical question, because I'm sure you'd still ignore that anyway.

If I do that they'd more than likely think I'm crazy or just flip me off, or be on cellphone(even though it's illegal here) to even see me pointing at the turning stalk. No I'm not kidding :D
