In the older video of RM driving it back in '07, why does the car keep wanting to veer to the right every time he goes up a gear/accelerates hard? Odd.

"also not close to the norm". It's not close, it IS the norm? LOL Gotta love folks on the East Coast. I patiently await when NY and the surrounding states join the lunacy that is Florida :D
I thought having acid trips in the car without actually getting high is okay? Besides ignoring the exterior, if a dad bought it for his young kids I don't think it's *that* bad.
Okay. I guess I have my information mixed up. The part I do not get is like Intending_Acceleration mentioned, why it took so long to put out the fire? Was it because it was jet fuel (I thought the foam took care of that?) or just being there too late?
Early survivor accounts indicated that the ambulance and firefighters did not arrive at the crash site until some 30 minutes later? This really does not bode well for the SFO rescue team...
No. Just no. Game controllers are not built to be abused or grabbed as a shift knob. A real fighter jet's stick is probably strong enough for this, but game controllers are not. This is really a disaster waiting to happen.
It's about the same size as every other small cuv these days. That and can you imagine how much worse it would've fared int the tests had it kept being as small as the 2nd gen?
That really depends on how they were mangled in the first place. You can't really expect a cr-v/rav4 to come out with the passenger compartment intact when the vehicle has a 50mph+ crash with a semi, for example. That and IIHS shows otherwise with the tests they do.
I'd say it's not boring if you actually try to drive one like one would drive any bmw. Of course the following makes the argument a bit moot, but with lower aspect ratio tires, larger wheels, the camry no longer steers without feedback and is even more fun to drive. That's before TRD suspension(or aftermarket ones)…
No. Even if everyone thinks the same way, when it's not a fact, it is still not a fact. If a lot of people think we have warp speed capability, then it is a fact that, yes, we CAN go warp speed right now. Absurd example, but hey, more people thinking that way so it's more factual...
Haha true. I'm all for that too. Hopefully Jason will get brainwa...I mean persuaded to do what you and I have in mind for that little bug :D
Let's not pretend you know the ENTIRE really convoluted history of Taiwan with those sentences of yours okay? BTW I'm not a Caucasian so your comment about me being ignorant because it's not in our history books won't fly, that's assuming it was ever readily available from the governments in the first place.
I think Jason mentioned that he doesn't want to sink more money than necessary to bring the car to drivable/presentable condition, so as much as we all like to see a turbo strapped on, I don't think he'll go down that path with this car.
No idea lol. I personally would be happy with a basic wrangler rubicon or just a base Grand Cherokee:P
The restomod work done to those suvs is meticulous from the pictures, so I can see why the loyalists would pay 40k for one.
Pretty sure this aint worth 25.5k. It's not like it's the first gen bronco which are much more rare IIRC.
Is that on ebay too?
Well I did see a few pre-facelift current gen mustang with the sequential lights retrofitted, which really didn't work with the non-hitech halogen lamps up front. I stand by my comment about it being gimmicky though, since I have to wait for the lights to blink to the middle bar to confirm that the lights are broken…
Yeah you set a budget and you stick to it. I never do get how there are a bunch of projects(especially construction projects) that overshoot their budget and then have to have the backers(or tax payers) pay for their inability to stick to the original budget. Either be conservative about the cost(as in don't…
That looked really gimmicky though...
