Having watched Santa Clarita Diet, I’m thinking violent food poisoning is only the second worst thing that can happen when you get bad clams.

I have the opposite problem. I’ve got pretty severe IBS, and I often wonder, “How do I know it’s my normal problems and not food poisoning? They behave about the same.”

The last time I had a CfA grilled chicken club sandwich was in 2017. It was even worse than I’d remembered.

Nah, Cafe Acadiana in Silverhill, AL.

I don’t know why it cracked me up so much but I had to stop and collect myself a moment after seeing Princess Caroline’s mom was drinking Northern Woe.

Or Tony Chachere’s, the only seasoning to have an 800-number printed on the label at one time so you could call and learn how to say the name. ;)

There’s a 25% market share that isn’t YooHoo? I don’t think I’ve seen anything else in nearly 30 years. Not that I haven’t looked; I recall Chocolate Soldier being the superior beverage, but rare as hen’s teeth.

It’s the customer service

If you’re gonna pay more anyway, why not seek out The Real Thing (ahem) and get the Mexican Coke in glass bottles, with real sugar? It really tastes better. And since we shouldn’t be drinking this stuff regularly, the increased cost and difficulty in finding MC helps me keep in in the “occasional treat” category.

I think the psychology of the American shopper is in play with these prices. Just how so many of us subconsciously round down $5.99 to $5 in our brains when it’s really $6 (or how $2.999/gallon gasoline hasn’t “crossed the $3 threshold yet” even though it totally has), the tax just kind of gets tossed aside when

If a restaurant asks me how I want my burger cooked, I respond by asking if they ground the beef fresh in-house. If it’s done in a slaughterhouse, as much supermarket ground beef is, then there is the risk of contamination with e coli from the production floor. There’s still a risk if it’s done in-house but less so if

It sounds like you turned on an alternate audio feed from your local TV station. Not all local TV stations transmit an alternate feed (in the analog days it was called SAP for ‘secondary audio program’. Some channels like Fox and FX use it for a Spanish dub of shows, some like ABC and PBS use it for audio assistance

Art was someone who is mostly missing on modern talk radio: a good personality. When George Noory took over the show took a huge dive because it was no longer Art’s direction, but Premiere Radio Networks (owned by Clear Channel, now iHeart Media). It became a lot more commercial and a lot less entertaining. There’s a

I enjoy all the shows he’s in, but I cringe every time there’s a closeup of one of his hands. They are SO hairy it creeps me out. Knuckle hair really takes me out of the mood for food.

Agreed. Where I live, however, it’s harder to find than a needle in a haystack. The one restaurant that used to put it on tables switched it with French’s, and the one supermarket that sold it off the shelf has ditched it. I’d order it online, but we get Whataburger condiments (regular and spicy ketchup, mustard and

Ketchup: Red Gold or Whataburger Spicy.

As far as I know, it’s also still on Cozi TV, if you happen to have an OTA station carrying that. Seems to air two or three times a day here.

I’m totally in support of showing the movies as they were filmed, but I also recognize that I’m in the minority, even today, when it comes to this. Back in the analog 4:3 CRT days people would freak out if they rented a movie and it didn’t fill the screen. The 4:3 full frame DVDs outsold the widescreen ones for a long

Ugh. Spotify. Their desktop app is atrocious. Spotify’s Windows app makes Kinja look useful and well thought-out.

Is there really such a thing as a regretful Trump voter? If so, I sure as hell haven’t met one yet.
