Chico isn't going to turn up at all. He's going to be "disappeared" by the same undertaker who took care of the guy Cottonmouth threw off the roof (Something something Chekov's undertaker). All Scarfe has to say is Chico was a no show.

Took me till that to realize why I recognized the name. He does a lot of voice work now, I think he's one of the Ninja Turtles as well. Met him at ComicCon last year and he was incredibly nice, especially to a bunch of kids.

And David Johansen too! It was my first big concert. My kids just got me the Blu-Ray of it for Father's Day.

Well played sir, well played.

The most surreal part was the when the Who played at Shea, they actually drowned out the planes.

The ironic part of the whole Rutles thing is that Harrison actually vetted all the songs to let them know which had to be changed to make sure that the Beatles Corp wouldn't sue.

I'll give you that McCoury's is interesting but better - no f'in way! Nice arrangement but Thompson playing it by himself still fills the stage more than the five of them do. If you ever get the chance to see him live in a place with even half decent acoustics, go. I saw him at St. Ann's Church in Brooklyn way back

Got distracted this morning at work (by of all things - work) and didn't get the chance to post this as well.

WWL&TD? (What would Lorelai & Tami do?)

Many years ago a friend of mine in the music business went out to one of his friend's house in the Hamptons on Labor Day. He walked in to see Paul Schaffer sitting on the couch in a tux holding a ballon and watching the telethon. He found out Shaffer had been doing this for years.

I used to stay up all night too. It was concentrated kitsch entertainment at its finest.

I remember a GLOW event took place in my high school gym. The Fabulous Moolah was there. None of the rest came close to resembling Alison Brie.

Doesn't he already say that on each of his podcasts?

Looking forward to this. Kenny was a freakin genius. I'd love to have a Michael O'Donoghue bio-pic.
"Good career move."

I'm still not sure which was more creative, Gleason's original profanity or the substitutions for the broadcast edit.

To this day, it's the most important lesson I've taught my son.

Please, you don't think he had a bong wrangler?

Serioulsy? It's much easier to just buy your beverages in New Jersey then return the empties in New York. No deposit in NJ, 5¢ deposit in NY. (Not that I've ever contemplated that).

Talk about meta-Sorkin!

Five years late to the game but I'm glad to see that you guys did recaps for the last two seasons.
