Couple of years late to this but I have to agree on the retro Wiseguy review idea. Last week I made my physical therapist so happy when I told her I still have a copy of the Dead Dog Records arc (which they left off the DVDs due to song rights) and I gave her a copy if it.

Took me 3/4 of the episode of Leverage he was in (I think it was his last job) to place him.

Not only do I agree, I saw it during the original release and gladly showed it to my two boys.

That was truly a short itself.

So that's what the "In a world" guy sounded like in the 70s.

A friend convinced me to give it a try and I'm glad I did. It's not great but it does one thing few shows do - trust the audience to figure things out without heavy exposition. Yes, it can be a bit heavy handed at times and clobber you over the head with the themes (is the resistance a good idea that can be

The pause to check notes before saying "Rock Hudson in his prime" is where I finally lost it. How the hell did Tobolowsky keep a straight face?

While I can understand the annoyance with Felicity, it still gave us one of the best bits of business in the episode - Curtis' 911 text, his whinging about the shouting when she shows up. her admonishing him for having a beer, then grabbing the beer, taking a slug, and handing it back when she sees/hears her parents

Want another stout?

Or at least a basketball squad.

I'd say too soon but really, the only way for it to be too soon for that joke would've been before it happened.

I still contend that Buffy's explanation to Giles about what happened when Angel got his soul back is probably the most noir lines on any TV show.

Between that and the rifle instructions, he was on fire last nite!

She may not have special powers, but you better shut your mouth before you suggest Peggy isn't a superhero!

First to fanwank/explain the whole plea solution. Max was piggybacking the television signal on the the Myriad signal, helped out by the fact that it was hidden because it was analog, not digital. So instead of just talking to everyone about hope on TV, Supergirl was beaming the message of hope straight into

Superman Returns Superman needed a ship because he was going beyond the yellow sun's reach to Krypton's red sun galaxy. In a yellow sun galaxy he's usually fine (though he sometimes has at mask for breathing).

Oh, I hope they go there.
