There was an LP I was reading where the audience kept getting into slapfights about whether it was silly to care about killing characters in a video game or whether doing so made you a horrible monster, and the best retort was something along the lines of "Can we just agree that you're not an idiot for caring about

My favorite is the mission where you need to bring the Psi Disruptor to the enemy Terran base. You're supposed to clear a path to the beacon and have an SCV bring it there, but you start with a science vessel and can just cast defensive matrix on the SCV and tell it to move to the beacon on its own. Takes about 30

Guess it's not only FFV that Square Enix hates.

Starter tips: Use rapier and/or mace and kill everything.

There was one of the Zerg characters that I thought was cool, but I forget his name. He was the dude you talked to to choose your mutations. But yeah all the stuff with the other jerks was just mindless filler.

Alarak was also my favorite part of the campaign. His VA was so great and he was just such a wonderful dick all the time.

And the reveal that Marius is actually talking to Baal, who proceeds to murder him immediately afterward. Such good storytelling. Blizzard must have lost a lot of talent in the last couple decades (probably as early as between LoD and WC3) since now we're left with the recent Blizzard stories. Then again I actually

Well that applies to WarCraft. StarCraft is its own beast (with similar similarities to the 40K universe).

At least recently Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm were 10 bucks each for Black Friday, though I'm not sure if they're still on sale. So it's definitely worth getting. If you just want to experience the story, you can just play on Casual difficulty, which shouldn't be a problem to any but the most incompetent

I loved the context-less cutscenes in SC1. Just getting a cutscene about some random mooks encountering Zerg for the first time ("I love you, Sarge.") was way more effective than any blathering on Raynor could do. I got your Zerg right here *cracks beer*.

Also Star Wars is probably a more apt analogy for StarCraft, and The Empire Strikes Back is definitely the best of the original trilogy.

A popular criticism of StarCraft is that it's basically a ripoff of Warhammer 40k with the Terrans, Zerg, and Protoss being Space Marines, Tyranids, and Eldar. Sure, they share a ton of similarities but I feel like StarCraft does a lot more with the molds the races occupy. That and I just can't get into the Warhammer

I've been gushing about the co-op as well; what's your battletag anyway? I started playing as Swann and have been enjoying him immensely; might move to Zagara next. I maxed Artanis but haven't actually played him at level 15 (I don't want to waste exp, sue me).

Undertale is pretty forgiving on the pacifist route, though I do think that you're intended to do it after a neutral run, so you have experience with all the enemies/bosses and attack patterns. A lot of things are also subtly stacked in your favor, too. Like, for instance, Toriel will never kill you unless you

Hemwick and the Witches are totally optional, but yeah for a casual run you should probably go there before Amelia. You can find enough Twin Shards there to get a +5 weapon, and you also get access to Runes there, though they aren't super important.

For me, the Capitol Wasteland was very bland with not much going on in it. There were a few interesting places like Rivet City, which is a settlement on a derelict aircraft carrier (I think? Or was it just a cargo ship or sometihng?). DC proper was pretty boring too, since it was mainly a lattice of samey subway

Swann seems like the most interesting one, and pretty difficult to use, but I'll probably go with Raynor next for the ease of MMM. I wonder if they're going to add new co-op heroes. Getting Purifier units with Fenix/Talandar or Tal'Darim units with Alarak would be a nice option.

I've been playing a couple co-op missions a day in Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void with some friends. I've almost maxed out Artanis, and I sort of feel like he's become a bit of a powerhouse. My strategy is to even out Zealots and Dragoons for the early game, get Whirlwind and Charge as soon as possible, then build a

Witcher 2 and 3 don't really have much grinding to speak of. It's mostly just quests. Enemy encounters give crap for XP, and a single main storyline quest can give you upwards of 5 levels. That being said, the skills you can get in Witcher 3 are so pointless that level really only dictates what equipment I can use.
