Four one-handed light attacks with Pursuer's greatsword, back up a few steps to let my stamina regen, and two more one-handed light attacks killed literally every NPC phantom in that area. You also need to make sure to only pull one of them at a time, too.

Well good thing pretty much all the dialogue in Super Paper Mario is hilarious.

Oh god, how can you stand the local multiplayer of D3 on console? Having to take turns to do your business in town just breaks the flow of the game so much.

Ha, I'll probably sign up once you post the thread. I think I'll go against the grain and request to be a Support with all the medic options (except Revive since Suppression is way more useful in general).

Yup. I tried the super optional boss after that as well, which didn't go so well for me. I decided that since I'm most likely abandoning the console version once the PC version is out and the D3 expansion is just around the corner, I'd just say screw it and see what NG+ has to offer.

You can get reliable melee damage with an Int character by making a Magic weapon (talk to Rickert at the beginning of New Londo Ruins). I mean you still need to worry about actually taking damage, but just as long as you never get hit, you should be just fine.

I love that "Let's Buy a House!" first led me to believe that you actually wanted to persuade your wife to have a second son (but what if it's a girl?).

I don't mind the bind on account since I play different classes than my friends and the game only tends to drop items worthwhile to my class. I have gotten one item for a Wizard while I was playing a Demon Hunter, but I was also playing with a Wizard at the time, so I just gave it to him.

With Not Created Equally you can cheese your recruits, though, because you can end up with 50 will, 80 aim recruits if you're willing to abuse save games that much. Or if you're willing to spend 15 spacebux on another sack of meat and stats after you permanently relegated the last recruit to janitorial duties.

Listen, those Ogres were protecting that coffin for your own good.

Dark Souls 2 for me as well. I've just started New Game+, and I have conflicting feelings about it. They change a decent amount of stuff in NG+, so it's more interesting. Some of it just seems a little unfair. Example: One of the hardest bosses in the game for me now spawns two Black Phantom Pyromancers into the

The Reaper of Souls changes are definitely great and make the game feel new again, but part of me wonders how the game would have been received if it were like this at launch. Basically they just gutted everything else that was classic about Diablo 2 (consecutive difficulties and trading powerful items) and just has

Exactly. It's used as a device to convey that the character is in some way deficient. See: Xander Feng in House of Cards. What did his autoerotic asphyxiation orgy intro do to serve his character or his story arc? It just happened and then never had any impact on anything. And it's just a coincidence that Feng was

I got my first and second Great Souls last night and opened the way past the petrified lady. I think that's my only option for progress at this point.

It is actually a really cool change. Durability repairs itself at bonfires, but broken equipment needs to be repaired at a blacksmith. It makes durability actually meaningful, outside of the previous game's "oh my weapon is at risk, I guess I'd better go back to the bonfire when I get a chance" system. It also means

Betrayal is a grand old time. You're gonna have a blast!

More subtle satire from Matt and Trey!

I would wager that most players would have jumped by accident by the time they encounter the Bed of Chaos. Not that it excuses the lack of a tutorial message, but still.

I loved that tutorial because it actually required you to demonstrate mastery of the game before it even let you play it. It makes no sense and is a beautiful, tragic nightmare.

I love the Gaping Dragon intro. This funny looking thing pokes its head out and players are like "aww", then a massive dragon with a gaping maw of teeth in its chest emerges.
