The funniest thing about Bulletstorm was that it was full of profanity in pretty much every dialogue sequence of one-liner spouted out by the protagonists. However, the developers, not being native English speakers, had no idea when writing the script how profane the end-product would be. They just wanted to sound

I think they just tried and failed to make it look as much like Link to the Past as possible. That kind of a graphical design philosophy makes things very difficult, especially in those rare instances when they combine the old with the new.

Wind Waker. Then Link to The Past. Then Majora's Mask.

What's a bit confusing is that every Zelda after Link to the Past really has that reverse difficulty curve. When you're a 16-heart behemoth with 4 bottled fairies in Ganon's Castle, and most of the enemies are only doing a heart of damage, you're kind of unstoppable.

I definitely think I'm picking it up. I've been itching to get a 3DS for a while now, and this seems like the perfect opportunity. I'll probably also get Super Mario 3D World, too. I've played a handful of DS games in the past, but on friends' handhelds, so I still have a huge backlog of games to enjoy.

It's a great game still, but not a great Zelda game. Of particular note was how uninspired the sky was; they obviously wanted to capture the same feeling of exploration and freedom that the Wind Waker sailing did, but the area was so tiny and you knew where everything was right off the bat. The disjointed overworld is

Please don't lump Phantom Hourglass in with Spirit Tracks. Phantom Hourglass was pretty much amazing, whereas Spirit Tracks was a directionless mess that relied on the framework that Phantom Hourglass built. I'm one of the minority that actually quite enjoyed the Ocean King Temple.

I'm more easily impressed by the graphical design than the graphics themselves. I think that GTAV is the most impressive-looking game I've played in this respect. Crysis may render the most realistic ferns, but I'm always looking for a good color palette and satisfying environment/character design. Wind Waker is also

I have a love-hate relationship with them. I'm compelled to get them in a game, even if I don't plan on getting all of the achievements, just because I may want to get them all in the future and it would save time. However a lot of achievements can suck it, especially the grindy ones (Kill 1000 dudes with this

The XrossMediaBar was surprisingly intuitive, and this article marks the first time I actually understood what "XMB" was referring to. Also, I know this article was comparing the PS4 to the PS3 in general, but I'd take the XMB interface (and all resultant sub-interfaces, such as the PSN Store) over the horrifying

Yup, the deleted scenes were great and I felt integrated back into the movie very well. Can we get a new Director's Cut that simply just adds those scenes back in and does nothing else?

The Director's Cut made me believe that the movie was good by accident. He just threw in a bunch of discordant shit without meaning or purpose, and then afterwards tried to tie it up in a neat little metaphysical bow. That being said, my 16-year-old self ate that shit up and asked for seconds. I particularly remember

Jorah is described as a stocky, barrel-chested, hairy, balding, dark-haired man in the books. Edmure is supposed to have red hair and a massive beard, and probably be a lot stockier than he is in the show. Daario is supposed to have a forked and dyed beard.
