Why the hostility?

How I initially read it was cancellation as in *games* getting cancelled, not “cancel culture” in general. No matter what type of cancellation he’s talking about, he’s still being an asshole though. Nobody cancels a game lightly.

Are the creators of this shit all first-graders obsessed with butts, farts, and poop jokes? I’m not the most mature person myself, but this is SO juvenile.

One just opened up here in Milwaukee, I can’t say I’ve heard the celebrity promos of it but everyone I know who’s had it says it’s the best. It kinda came out of nowhere, guess I’ll have to try it sometime.

That’s the problem, they can’t. Youtube will just move on to other people who aren’t organizing, and a lot of smaller-time youtubers don’t have the money to not make videos. At worst, they could get banned with no recourse because Youtube can do absolutely anything to anyone on their platform.

I like Yoshi-P, but man, everything he’s said about XVI seems crappy. It’s like he goes from really nice and passionate when talking about XIV to really dismissive when talking about XVI.

Since when should the solution to a company doing something shitty be “get used to it”? It doesn’t have to be this way, y’know. You could organize and fight for actual change instead of continuing to go without credit.

Haven’t played SV yet, but Arceus was the same for me. I would *really* like it if Pokemon looked better, but it wasn’t terrible by any means and I don’t play Pokemon for the graphics anyway.

Is opinion really turning against the Switch that much? As much of a Nintendo fan as I am, I will admit that all of these are definitely valid arguments and I’d love to see a Switch Pro as much as anyone else. Only the eShop is shutting down, online services aren’t affected by this. I wouldn’t be surprised if Nintendo announces they’re turning online functionality off soon though.

God, this is so incredibly shitty and sad. Really, it’s just giving more publicity to the actual game. I admit GVH kinda fell off my radar, but I took a second look at the trailer and Steam page and I’m pretty excited for it now.
