I’m not generally a sim racing style fan — two of my favorite racing games are Burnout Paradise and Wipeout HD Fury — but Horizon 5 has absolutely pulled me in. The in-depth upgrades and more sim-like elements are a little overwhelming, but I’ve found some great guides out there to simplify it a little.

Hey, thanks for providing us with another obvious target. We Kotaku commenters love clowning on crypto bros.

Hell, I’m saying this as a Nintendo fan myself. I’d love to have the cards for my favorite villagers, but a single Punchy card goes for 20 bucks (at least) on Ebay. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

People still buy the cards? I thought that everyone who wanted them (at least, those who aren’t collectors) just made their own with NFC tags you can get from Amazon. That’s what I did.

Wait, you can do Turn 2 with BLU and get the Tomestones still? I’ve been running it with my FC members and in the Duty Finder queue and there’s been a few times where we’ve wiped due to someone not knowing the Allagan Rot mechanic for ADS.

Aaaaaand this is why FFXIV has become my main MMO-type game. I absolutely love the core gameplay, story, and art/design of Destiny, but everything surrounding it has just become exhausting and a massive time or money sink. In all fairness, FFXIV’s a subscription MMO while Destiny has a quasi-subscription in the Season

Oh, huh, my bad then. Didn’t realize True Colors was developed by Deck Nine.

Good to hear, especially considering that Life Is Strange is published by Square Enix. Yes, I know there’s a few levels of separation between a developer that makes games published by Square Enix and Square Enix themselves, but it shows that change is possible for studios associated with big-name developers, and

Like other people said, it’s more of a platform versus a specific game. If you know VRChat, it’s kinda like that, creating and customizing a character and using it in a variety of player-made worlds, but it’s accessible for (and aimed towards) kids and teenagers.

During SGDQ, there was a promo playing for this during an in-stream ad break, and the entire chat blew up with “OH MY GOD IS THAT STEVE BLUM VOICING THE MAIN DUDE???” If Steve Blum does indeed voice the dude, that would be glorious.

Hey, Science Channel still airs How It’s Made, that’s gotta count for something right?

[REDACTED] is my favorite, I get excited every season when they announce it’ll be Season Of The [REDACTED] until they announce that it’s actually Season Of The Splicer or whatever.

My friends finally got me to try FFXIV, and I’ve gotta say that the community is still pretty welcoming, at least to me, a sprout. When my party wiped in a Trial or I didn’t understand where to go in a dungeon, my fellow sprouts were really understanding and the more experienced players were happy to show me. My

I’m gonna go against the absurd amount of people saying the Razer Kishi and say the 8bitdo Pro 2. It’s not a wraparound controller like the Kishi, so you’ll want a phone clip for mobile use (8bitdo sells one!), but it’s an incredibly versatile controller that can be used with everything. I have the first version, the

It’s really helpful, I’ve picked up a few double/triple kills by hopping into a blinking portal and killing a cluster of enemies on the other side! The loading screen tips explain a few minor but important details like that, or that melee attacks deal more damage if you have more momentum from

If there’s an enemy near the other side of the portal, the portal on your end will blink a little bit too.

...you just said the quiet part out loud, huh? Capitalism strips away as many rights as possible in order to increase profit.

GTA is fun... once you have the money and RP to be able to actually do anything. Rockstar really needs to go back and redo the new player experience, maybe even tweak the economy a little. It’s really telling when the best way to get into GTA is “Have a friend with a submarine do Cayo Perico with you until you get 2

Yet another case of Niantic being Niantic again. I have a feeling I won’t be playing until they bring at the very least the stop/gym distance back. There’s literally no point in changing it — they really think that people are going to spend money on items because of this?

Honestly? I like it hot or cold. I’ll drink almost every type of coffee, except seriously crap stuff like hotel or office coffee. Straight black whole-bean I get from local roasters, the specialty drinks at Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts, even gas station coffee (though it helps that Kwik Trip actually has really good
