It’s fairly clear from this manual that units aren’t necessarily equal to degrees (Pilot’s Manual, F-4). That being said, the numbers mentioned in the manual don’t speak to a 45 degree angle of attack, either in units or degrees.

Well, as a Constitutionalist Libertarian, the federal government should only be providing the services specifically enumerated in the Constitution. According to the 10th Amendment, everything else should be handled by the states. If you want the federal government to provide free ice cream for everybody, that’s fine.

As a ‘small government’ Constitutionalist Libertarian, I’m obligated to ask: If parts of the government can be shut down because they’re ‘non-essential’, doesn’t that demonstrate that we, as a country, can function without those shut down portions? From my point of view, government should only be providing essential

The Dems pushed it through with zero Republican votes.

That’s all well and fine, but that’s not what the contract that they signed said. Instead, they over-promised, and continue to under-deliver. If (as decades worth of history show) it’s going to take 10 years, don’t promise it in 5.

Ironic. You calling someone a fucking idiot in Yoda-speak. Really references your intelligence more than theirs, when you think about it.

If cops aren’t being required to re-certify with their weapons every quarter there’s something horribly wrong with their department, and an immediate investigation is warranted.

TBH, as a ‘hardline’ right-winger, I have no issues with Tyler’s assessment of the debate. I’ve always appreciated his even-handed approach to political issues.

The first report said the the sub had left its North Sea base with two anti-submarine ships in tow on September 4th ...

Here’s one of my favorites, taken in Feb, 1991. This is a pic of only the larger ships; at the time, the pic with all of the support ships was the largest display of sea power in the history of the world:

The video is worth it, but it’s basically laying out the case that Daniel was the aggressor, and that Johnny was simply responding in kind to Daniel, and was the true hero of the movie.

With the pizza shop owner played by Mr. Belding.

Yawn.

I haven’t been able to find the one at AMARG, but there is one on display at Blackbird Airpark at Plant 42 in Palmdale, CA (34.602739, -118.085844). Here’s a shot from Google Maps:

Bytes, or kb? 640k was the edge of XMS (or maybe EMM), where you had to load a memory manager to get more. That was in the mid ‘90’s. Before that, I don’t have much of an idea. I was a user at that point, not a fixer.

I’ve seen the inventory site before... to be honest, I have more appreciation for a rousing game of “what the hell kind of plane is THAT?” So far, I’ve only found 4 or 5 that I can’t identify. I could’ve sworn I saw a D-21 there a while back, but I’m not seeing it now.

I worked at an anonymous chain restaurant back before they’d deliver to your car - the customer actually had to come in to pick up the food. When we were scheduled shifts to work the to-go counter, we were paid minimum wage. Waiting tables, we got the standard waitstaff wage (I think it was $2.12 at the time), but we

What I find interesting is that 90% of people who worked at Starbucks hated it, and celebrate the anniversary of their departure with a glee usually reserved for winning the lottery the second time.
