Another vote for the civics and the accords. I've put 20k on my current used civic commuting in a year, and it's not had a problem. 2002 cost ~10, with the warranty up to 100k. Mine's not four doors, but those cost less, and a lot of them come in a manual. Get cruise control so that you don't end up with bad gas…

Has to be the Fairlady. It's crying out in a similar manner to the cheap Triumphs floating around my local craigslist. So pretty, and you could put a decent engine in it.

I see this car all the time while trying to find a parking space. Never got around to learning it's story. Very cool.

I'm partial to the del sol... I had a 92 si with one of those fun little engines, and I like the targa top.
