I'd have to disagree, actually. Their anger at whom? The Japanese aren't a singular entity you can just be mad at, just like any other race. This happened 70 years ago. Probably 90% of those who were responsible for Japan's actions at that time are long dead by now.

To this day, if someone just writes simply "!" I hear the spotted sounds from Metal Gear. Vice versa, if I ever hear that sound, my brain translates the noise as "!"

…because 1000 times more people finished Super Mario? Adventure Island is a game I will never have the patience to finish. The skateboarding levels still give me nightmares.

I'm going to support this game simply because it's actually being released on a console that gets so little love.

We have in The Netherlands a small video game museum which is packed with consoles. The funny thing is that you can play with almost every console on display.
