I'llbe part of that 2020 Steam community! Will be fun.

Two games I really wanted: Borderlands 3 and Outer Worlds. They would have been Preorder or Day One. Now I will wait until Steam has them on sale. Randy Pitchford giving his customers that don’t like the Epic deal the middle finger makes this decision easier.

Delayed Gratification at a lower price.  Works for me too.

I also will be grabbing it when it's sub-$20 on a sale on Steam

There’s dozens of us, DOZENS!

This console peasent will as well. I was going to get it for PS4, but after hearing what they did with Epic, and Pitchford’s toxic responses to Steam users, I can’t bring myself to purchase the game on PC or console.

And my axe.

You are not alone. I can wait until a humble sale for the steam version or steam sale of some kind.

This is the right take. I don’t trust Epic. The way the exclusives things is working out feels gross somehow.
Valve, for all their problems, have been just fine.

BL3 community on Steam will be pretty great in 2020. I can wait. Plenty of stuff in the backlog.

Yeah, right after they started buying exclusive that was the position that I choose to take. Wait for the Steam version to be highly discounted and buy the game two years down the road.

Me Three.

Now we're four and a friend of mine who also won't buy the game until it releases somewhere else than epic.

Never said it didn't.

I’m with you too.

Same here, honestly theirs enough games in my existing library and new games from smaller devs who also self publish that I should be playing.

There’s at least two of us as I am doing the exact same thing. I will buy it on Steam when it isn’t $60. I will not support Epic, I will get to play the game and I know the publisher will make less than it would have by releasing it on Steam at the same time as Epic. They don’t get to use Steam pre-orders to claim

Uplay, Origin, and B.net are company stores for Ubisoft, EA, and Activision Blizzard respectively. They bypassed (or in Blizzard’s case, never sold on) Steam to sell directly to customers. Even then, Ubi will sell on Steam, then force you into Uplay as an updater/launcher anyway. GoG Galaxy is a CD Projekt division,

Valve has to have a ton of overhead with all the servers they run, the constant updates from security threats, the market, VR, the community, and countless other things that Epic store does not have. I find it crazy that it even has to be mentioned.

Going to be speaking with my money (and it is the only thing 2K cares about) by not buying BL3 until 2020 (if at all). And then only once it has gone down in price on steam (or GoG if that is an option). Yes, yes. I know they won’t miss one sale and it will take a lot of similarly minded people to make up for the

This is part of why I try to put my money into GOG when I can. Then I at least own the game lock stock and barrel.
