@CloserDivision: It's frustrating because the ending to ME1 was just absurdly great. SPOILERS:

@Vedli: Yes, that discounts your opinion. They're all really good games, all very different.

Does anyone remember when dogs were dogs- instead of training wheels for housewives?

@I'm leaving a: It's CYA lawyer stuff- I'm sure the real humans at Blizzard are just as excited about this as we all are.

No big mystery here: Blizzard wants to retain the right to the future use of World of Starcraft, for absurdly obvious reasons. Due to the nature of copyright law, if you don't defend the name you stand a chance of losing it.

@EnigmaNemesis: CoD knifing is awful, that game lets you show up with a knife... and win!

@mr_godot02: just turn off voicechat, it's a competent mp shooter if you can ignore the tykes.

@anduin1: hmm... I'd say sandbox games are a genre. If you want groundbreaking GOTY I'd say minecraft.

@GamingTheory: Treyarch released an SDK for W@W, though they also gave maps to PC players for free...

@Wolfbullet: It will be Deus Ex, if they can recapture the dynamic, emergent gameplay of the original, while offering compelling combat and modern graphics.

@Manly McBeeferton: Curious as well- Mass Effect felt a little like the new Tron: awesome while I was watching it, meh by the end, disappointing in retrospect.

@anduin1: To be fair, Read Dead doesn't have a whole lot in common with the original, aside from name and setting.

@Manly McBeeferton: Possibly because Reach is an exclusive? I guess none of the editors were rabid enough fans to go for it, as it fits the same bill as CoD, which is arguably the more successful of the two.

@Lt_gunner: BLOPS is a return to MW1 gameplay, while retaining the additions of W@W and MW2 that worked. I like that a lot- it's the best CoD experience out there, and that's what I bought it for.

@GamingTheory: The first couple weeks were barely playable, but they eventually got it running and it's a good game on PC. Hopefully they come through with a good solution for the SDK/community made maps, because $15 map packs are laaaame.

@cptincognito: Had some misgivings about posting that because I really do like him as an actor. I only recently gave the Dogget X-Files a chance and he's really good in 'em.

@frog_man1975: It's interesting, because sports games are really cross-cultural (as in nerds and jocks, dogs and cats, living together...)

@Dayvie: Heh. I do think it was the right call disallowing Flash. Flash on OSX was awful- Macromedia really didn't make the OSX client first class compared to the Windows version.

@Koda89: Or a Swastika made of penis's? Man, I know what I'm doing when I get home!
