@Nerubasasin19: I've played the hell out of it, the MP is great- but the SP was just terrible. In many ways, BLOPS is a step back from a game we've been getting full-priced expansions of for the last 3 years. In the case of MP, that was a good thing, because all the excesses needed to be reeled in.

@DocSeuss: Dead Space 1 had a terrible demo as well- turned me off to the point I still haven't played the full game, despite glowing reviews and a $6 dollar steam sale. That style of gameplay takes a while to get under your skin.

@greatsage10001: If you could run circles around the security measures of the biggest tech companies in the world, you'd probably have some ego issues as well.

@Daniel Hinkles: RROD aside, the XBOX and PS3 are neck and neck in terms of overall performance. You can throw numbers around all you want, each system has bottlenecks that put their peak output in the same ballpark- a 4 year old gaming PC.

@Trakata: I so wish they do a PC port.

Mental Health is a compelling argument for readily available health care. It's catch 22- these people won't be able to get jobs or pay for insurance/pills without help, and when they don't get it, very bad things can happen.

Tying nuns to the train tracks in Red Dead

Camera Peepz- is he using a specific steadycam like apparatus for that roll+orbit shot?

Never in my life have I seen so many people side with a faceless corporation over the plucky computer whiz. Mostly, people just don't care either way, but this thing with Sony, it's sort of baffling. Maybe they all bought PSP's and are terrified developer support for their PS3 will dry up?

@wohdin: I've known people who've gone in for behaviour modification via amperage- that stuff just scares me.

I stopped downloading games about as soon as I started using steam- it just makes it easier. Also, the pricing makes sense- they don't keep it inflated, and the seasonal sales allows me to get the games i'm too broke/uninterested to pay full retail for.

I may be jumping to conclusions, but "the rebooting method - is already being used to treat people with epilepsy and depression"

@urbanGECKO: Well, that's a good point. It's easy to confuse the two, as news == entertainment oftentimes. FOX news and political debates have a very Pro Wrestling facade these days. The Daily Show is entertainment, but it's also a better source of news than most 6pm newscasts.

@DrakeDatsun: I liked it too- just said it wasn't a great movie. Good, but the music video editing sold the story short, imho.

@SecretMoblin: Yep. Indeed. It's interesting that the 'media effects' studies often used to malign violent games is basically the same pseudoscience at work here. I think FOX/Palin etc. are despicable, no-class fools, but this guy Loughner's corn flakes obviously pissed themselves.

@Shinta: The things that piss geeks off most are the little unnecessary changes that are made. There's good movies and bad movies, and lots can go wrong making a movie- often they have nothing to do with sticking to canon etc. Great example- Watchmen. Snyder basically used it as his storyboards, didn't change

I'd get this if it was cheap enough- I'm guessing there would be nasty latency issues for hardcore gaming, but for day to day stuff it'd be nice to have access to my primary workstation in various rooms. (VNC is too laggy)

Dream Feature? That's exactly what I want- a game so immersive that it's indistinguishable from a dream. You know that way you look at other people's cars differently when you've played too much GTA? Or how games seep into your dreams with the whole multiple life/1up system?
