One of my friends was telling me his fathers friend has a car that Hennessey has had for years as he was meant to be "fixing" it. He's given up on hearing back from them on it, so I wouldn't say John has addressed all the issues.

Exactly what I was going to mention, guy in Denver does them. Scene that green one at Cars and Coffee a few times

It's only a colossal money pit if you go about repairing it, R8's are cheap to maintain. That said, why would you bother racing a automatic R8? Not even worth it, save up and buy a manual ;)

Not painful at all, it's automatic. Who cares, real question here is, why did she marry someone who drives a automatic R8 in the first place?

I don't think I'll be making my seats into furniture when I pull them out, seeing as they have airbags in them, lol..

The R8 isn't that expensive, lmao. In 4 years I'd be making enough to afford one, with no college... js. Thee's a guy doing the same job as me (no college required) who thanks to it has a Z06, SRT10 Viper, WS6, and the fastest H2 Hummer in Colorado..isn't that hard to buy cars if your smart (y)

This is about what I would expect, thought the BMW would of grabbed more though. Snow tires>'all seasons' aka, no seasons - in the snow, any day;awd or rwd.

People will always argue that you could of had a V8 though, seeing as you can buy V8 cars for cheap..or swap LS's into things for cheap if you have connections.

I don't think that I personally can, I mean..I can't smoke one of my Pilot SS's on my 350Z (that said, I have quite a bit of rubber on it). I think the power loss from altitude where I live wouldn't allow the RS to smoke tires as easy, lol.

I've manicured a scale off road R/C course with the focus and care of a bonai master attending his tiny tree's before, lol. Also I'v scene R/C cars launched straight up into the air 100 feet...with pavement below them..end of the year high air competition at a road course ;)

Personally, I don't care as much about build quality as much as handling, speed, and overall reliability when it comes to one of these cars. I don't think people looking at a Japanese sports car like the FRS are going to be looking for high quality either, I'd only start to worry about build quality if it got in the

I see a 300ZX about once every week and a half, there's at least 3 I know of locally, I see not only a first gen Taurus, but a first gen Taurus SHO every week (he's out on Friday's cruising around), I see Saab 9000's on occasion but yeah, not that often. Don't see Acura Legend's like I used too, do see 1st gen MR2's

Lol, the Explorer. The 90's, the most likely era for your transmission to explode.

This isn't very unlikelly at all, everyone knows they're good in snow, it makes sense they would be (weight over the powered tires) and it snows in Germany..I mean.. only this is, they are truly awful winter cars. They're heaters are absolutely worthless.

I have a friend that drove a 360 Modena for the first half of this winter (on snow tires of course)..he would still be driving it, but it's rear end is currently laying all over his dealerships work shop as they are replacing transaxle pieces

Buy a used R/T, twin turbo it, shit on Hellcats for half the money

You forgot one; The Hellcat is too slow. For that money, a Cobalt SS with bolt on's and a tune shouldn't be able to touch it....but it's about as fast.

The Flex would sell super well, if it weren't crazy expensive for what it is. I've never ever heard of anyone buying a new Flex, only used, because then they are atleast somewhat affordable. Maybe the lack of SS sales will mean a LS3 and transmission for the swap I want to do won't cost as much when I do it :D

I'm talking just based on a electronics stand point, lol..and the 2010 SCCA National Autocross champion would beg to differ, haha ;)

It's a German car that wasn't built before the E36 (the last safe German car to buy) and thus will at some point, sooner or later, have every sort of electrical problem known to man.
