Oh man! I love that level scaling idea! A big problem I had with WoW was that many of my missions would turn grey when I was finally ready to go attempt them. WoW definitely has a rush to the end-game, which doesn't appeal to people like me who only pay MMOs for the story.

One method Reddit uses is a timer to stop you from posting repeated spam. If you were marked down, you would need to wait 10 minutes to post again. Constantly getting marked down probably increases that timer until it'll finally take you days before you can say anything again.
