On the Civ5 Amazon page, there seems to be a crazy amount of boycotting of Steam. It's pretty bad on there - as bad as the whole Spore debacle. But here and every other gaming site, Steam is universally praised!

The change of transitions makes my eyes hurt. But I kept watching out of curiosity.
And I thought Mario Crossover was a amazing piece of work.

I'm trying my best to only read mere snippets of the wiki. After I beat the game a second time, I'll probably spend a few dozen hours going through and every page religiously to make sure I know everything about this game. (Just like I did with Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fallout 3.)

Cliffy-B is a smart guy for being aware of it. Girl gamers are probably the worst when it comes to video game marketing. Heck, young girl gamers are still in the Barbie/pink pony princess marketing area.
@Bryy Miller: Money is a pretty easy motivator. If you gave me 5 bucks to take a picture of my shoe, I'll do it, just for kicks. I could care less about the money, but the idea that I CAN get 5 bucks out of it inspires me more.

(The Japanese version of Nintendo DS game Glory of Heracles moves more slowly than the Western one. The reason for this was that, during localization, 8-4 suggested tripling battle speed. The result is that the English version is more playable for Western gamers than the original.)

@Matieo10: Yes. I know a lot of people who don't have a problem with Star Wars costumes and wearing them un-ironically. Does that bother you?
