I am confused by this article. The apartment looks like every other apartment decorated by a professional interior designer, but maybe moderately more interesting.

I apologize to anybody who took my initial comments out of context
"Tommy will NOT be coming to Sophia's birthday party because we don't support your 'lifestyle'. We are a forward-thinking family and I want to ensure that Tommy isn't influenced by any backwards practices like dial-up. Call me at my Best Buy extension if you want more information on proper internet providers."
I wish I could star this a million times. Experiencing fear of physical retaliation when rejecting someone who has asked you out/isn't getting the hint might seem irrational, but in the context of the horrible stories you hear almost every day from around the world, it's actually a pretty rational fear.
IDK, someone in another thread said they called the number and it went to a voicemail saying "This is Beth..."
Those tie-dye marketing hoaxes are the worst, man. They get you all knotted up and then just leave you out to dry.
Three things: that is a great picture, you are lovely, and people are assholes.
Agreed. Rudeness goes both ways - those doing the pursuing and those doing the rejecting should both be kind and considerate, but that doesn't always happen...
Are we still talking about the guy who follows her home? Because even if he's shy and awkward, he would have to be pretty damn clueless too to not know that women don't like that. It sounds like the woman who wrote the letter tried dropping hints that she wasn't interested, and he didn't pick up on them/purposefully…
I qualified using "physically attack" in my comment by saying that that's unlikely in a public place, but that the woman who wrote the letter explicitly said the guy finds ways to leave with her. Fear drives how we act in these situations, whether it's fear of being insulted or fear of making a social situation…
Because of this:
"Only 39% of newlywed women who married a spouse with less education out-earned their husband, and a majority of them (58%) made less than their husband."
Oh good! I don't know how many times I've sat at home, sadly watching sports on my laptop because those manly, hard barstools hurt my ladybutt so much.
I'm assuming this one was Adam's. Eve's was probably a little bit daintier (you know, maybe only one painful-looking torture screw on the top).
So this is what ancient can openers look like! Who knew ye old royals were poppin bottles on the throne??
OMG IRL PARENT TRAP!
So I'm curious... What are Rand Paul's thoughts on China's one child policy?
Absolutely sickening.
As you can see from the clip above, that's treated as no big thing. The problem is, according to TV Guide's synopsis, "the potential new friendship is put to the test as one mom chats with Amy, and the other is stuck listening to Bob's dull stories."
They're not, at all. I think this was a great way to introduce the characters. Hope they stay around and aren't just in this one episode.
