The I liked the Toyota reliability, but I think it had better looks than it’s sibling the Matrix.

my first *new* car was a 2006 Vibe; black and loaded, with a five speed stick (was kind of a unicorn)...I loved it. fun, responsive, efficient, reliable, and room to haul all my music gear around. Drove it for ten solid years and was ready to keep going, until some idiot rear-ended me and totaled it.

Van Halen w/ Sammy Hagar on lead vocals, Philadelphia Spectrum in maybe ‘94... My girlfriend (now wife) and I were in the cheap, upper-level seats, but were relatively close to the stage, all good, except for some guy a few rows ahead of us, one of those “I think I’m with the band” types, air guitaring and bouncing

I bet a lot of students at Urban Legend A&M graduated from Heard It From A Friend High School, where that one girl had the frozen hot dog break off in her vagina.

once upon a time, I heard someone refer to NPR as “Nice, Polite Republicans.” and it’s always stuck with me, and even find some truth in it, depending on the program.

Docs never went away.  And the world is so much better for it.

my wife bought one of these (1990, FWD, 5MT, “fun Justy” decals) in college sometime around 1994 for $1500 bucks. It was a blast to drive (“slow car fast” and all that), and pretty much unkillable. just so you know, your use of the term “hamburg” sans “er” gave me the most pleasant flashbacks to my dear departed Northeastern PA grandmother and her friends who would have totally made all of these casseroles well into the 80s, then gossiped about all the ladies down at the donut shop downtown while consuming them.

not enough visible rust, and 10x what David would pay for such things!

DeConnick *did* cameo in the film.

it’s all that shark blood he gets on them, waving chainsaws into sharknadoes these days.

someone else shares my love for Grease 2?  Amazing.  you’re already my best friend and we’ve surely never met!

or, barring that, find somebody whose damage offsets yours...

Those dog-dish caps...love them. The push-pull headlight switch? Don’t do ‘em like that anymore. The price is right on the edge of crack-pipe, but there’s something about this one; looks well sorted to me; nostalgic NP.

R’lyeh? Are the stars right?

the Green New Deal, *can*, in fact, hammer a six-inch spike through a board with it’s penis.  Right Now.

I love “Stranger in the Alps” so much  (and not because of the deep-cut Lebowski reference).  “Motion Sickness” is my jam.

Saved! buys her a lifetime of credibility in my book.

I go one of two ways, depending on my mood. My wife is vegetarian/almost vegan, so if I’m left to myself, I’ll do a nice steak (seared in cast iron). She also can’t stand sauerkraut, which I love, so sometimes that gets done when she’s not around.
