Yes, perfect for hauling the bikes - I usually use a strap-on rack, though I’ve gotten the mountain bike and a couple of kid bikes in my Scion without a problem - just pop the front wheel off.

I had a 2006 Pontiac Vibe (both were essentially Corolla hatchbacks) - managed to transport a kitchen range, in the carton, with the liftgate closed, in it.
