The cars are faster this year with no big changes to engine rules and tires that can explain the speed. The aero changed and even though it was suppose to make the car slower it did the opposite. If you watched last season the floor plays a huge part of Aero and drivers rarely recovered their pace after a blown rear

Are you even watching the same video?, he was about a foot away from Perez when he went on the grass and any racer that goes off the track knows you can’t just jam the wheel to get back on. He was waiting to hit the pit exit to get the grip to get back on.

What are you talking about reduced reliance on Aero!?, the wings are bigger this year which is why the cars are faster!

That’s a good angle for that car!

Is the V-sport even manual or V8? What does the SS have to do with it? Most wouldn’t trade a manual and V8 for a auto and a turbo six including me.

Yeah honestly I don’t even keep track of crossovers and completely forgot Cadillac even made them.

Does Cadillac even have fwd vehicles currently? Pretty sure the Cadillacs are top of class for handling, performance, turn in, the only problem is the infotainment sucked and the interiors weren’t as nice.

That’s why its kind of ironic to have a job commenting on new vehicles when there isn’t one that he would actually buy. It sucks that a lot of car enthusiasts whom I agree with on features don’t actually give much a reason for car companies to build cars with those features because they aren’t direct customers. It

You could vote with your wallet and buy a new vehicle that has 2 out of 3.

Exactly, a 289 is a small block V8, especially if the engine is from the small block/big block era it should be considered small.

AFAIK Stock LS bottom ends can easily do 1000 HP as reliably as a stock 2JZ. And these engines are in everything. And before you say that more displacement is cheating think about that LSs are generally lighter and smaller then the 2JZ. I mean the LS3 fits in a Miata with stock firewall and the hood closes.

I guess I totally missed the sarcasm.

Do you even hear yourself? “even at the cost of a few”!!! So yeah lets become a mob and steal from successful people because that’s morally right. Might as well just kill people that get in the way of freedom and security for all?

Care to back that with evidence? We have been capitalist since the start of the USA and there is no totalitarianism in over 200 years! How long did it take Venezuela, SSR, North Korea to be totalitarianism with socialist values? 5-10 years?

Name a current US oil subside that is specific to the oil industry and not business in general? I haven’t seen one and I have looked.

Sure, there are plenty of American cars and trucks that outsold the Tesla—but none of them were from an American luxury brand. No Cadillacs. No Lincolns. This is further proof that we should probably start thinking of California-based Tesla as an American luxury brand.

You might want to look up gyros which are different from accelerometers.

How many gryos would $6400 buy?

Seat belts locks don’t cost $6400 to reset!! Money, time are still important in the safety equation, otherwise we would climb into our cars over the roll cage and put on 5 points every time we drive. There is acceptable risk, as an engineer its our job to strive for the best compromise. Engineers could design a car

Gyros are cheap, airbags can easily deploy based on angular velocity and angle value for roll over protection. When PS3 controllers had gyros since 2008 this car should use them for roll over detection.
