Is the first conservative economic article on Jalop? Yeah its common sense, the rich (in capitalism) don’t make the poor poorer, they actually make the poor richer for the same reasons in this article.

Love the reaction but love the car more 👍

You don’t have kids do you?

I’m sorry but “<racism> is probably at it’s worse in America”. Now that’s a statement! I’ve heard LH spends a lot of time in America and if he gets treated the worse here why does he come? I’ve been of fan of his ever since 2007 so this is a bit bitter to hear. I’ll probably just root for Ricciardo from now on.

If you compare this video the the Motor Trend Ignition done on the SS the Kia didn’t fare very well with the “for a kia” language and heavy understeer after turn in. And its not any cheaper then the SS. All I can say is I like the hatch.

I don’t think these will sell but I hope they will. No way I would trade in my Chevy SS for one though.

Good for Richard Petty. Can you imagine what would happen to the fan base if people started kneeling for the anthem? Is the NFL any indication? NASCAR is a show business and employees don’t get to use it as an avenue for their own protests.

This article has nothing to do with compulsory celebration, It’s only about employment requirements in order to bring in more sales. NASCAR is a show business and employees of said business don’t get to use it as an avenue for there own protests, much in the same way actors read from a script and don’t get to say what

Except you forget that my company is currently buying welded steel structures and very competitive rates from Australia that are built in Australia but not by union labor.

It was a conscious choice by the Aus Govt not to subsidize the automotive industry which finally let it die. The automotive industry not being able to be competitive is the reason it died. The reason why it wasn’t competitive was labor rates. I am currently working with an Australian supplier for castings and

Unions killed Australia car manufacturers, and they are slowly killing Detroit and Canada. They only help union bosses at this point, they severely limit working hours for employees and make it hard to car manufacturers to compete. They have no place in the 21st century.

Not sure what an HC engine is. The RB weighs too much, the rotary can make more power per weight but won’t last long.

I’m sorry but I would never try to a make a swap harder, more expensive, or slower because someone complains that it’s un original. There isn’t a better engine platform out there for swaps period.

So solar generates electricity during the day but people charge their cars in the evening. That’s a pretty complex problem since there is very very little storage on the grid.

Your post reminds me of how Apple sued Samsung because their phone had rounded corners. That is a indicator of a broken patent system but suing for rounded corners (among other things) is a pretty low hit and can be considered monopolistic.

I may be missing something but I don’t think Apple deserves to be on that list. Apple fought to protect peoples data on iphones by fully encrypting and they are fully upfront about the products they sell, like no hidden costs. I guess they do make decisions about which apps get published but I haven’t heard of them

One of the reasons I hate Nissan, I don’t even care if the car is good anymore (they’re not :-) I just hate them.

I guarantee you all production electric vehicles will have brake regeneration. I mean it’s already on all hobby quality RC cars. The only way you are getting 100 miles quoted for a bus is with brake regeneration. For that matter every hybrid has brake regeneration because that is basically the whole point.

Everything you say makes good points and it seems like there should be regulations to prevent developers from cutting corners. I’m not usually in favor of more regulations but I understand how little control people have with how their house is built etc etc. Not sure if the federal government is the best organization

Maybe you should redefine “whine” because Hamilton didn’t: “give or make a long, high-pitched complaining cry or sound” or “complain in a feeble or petulant way:”
