Hamilton also said over the radio during the race that there was “no debris anywhere,” ESPN reports.

Honestly I haven’t watched very many Vandoorne interviews but it seems he isn’t asking for sympathy or to be a victim and I know this article is tongue in cheek much like my comment so I don’t understand why we would need to make him into a victim. We already have too many self proclaimed victims in society at this

I guess we would have to define “fastest”. Vandoorne voluntarily races for Mclaren Honda. Heaven forbid anyone to feel hurt and embarrassed but where would sympathy end? He had to beat a lot of people to get to where he is and while I don’t pretend to be any expert on his career but I’m sure he beat people that didn’t

Oh the inhumanity of getting paid millions of dollars to drive the fastest Honda.

Great article until you feel the need to sucker punch us with your political beliefs about inequality that has nothing to do with Tesla. Everything doesn’t have to be political, especially car reviews.

Dodge Magnum SRT8, many can be had for around 20 grand. My coworker had one and loved it. I’m guessing mechanically they are robust.

I agree plenty for a light weight manual transmission car but if it’s auto only it might be a heavy GT car in which I would pass. Lightweight auto only car would be like the 4C I suppose, an odd ball for sure.

You could be right but just because there is a V8 in the JK and it was put there by Jeep Engineers doesn’t mean it fits based on a production line, manufacturing and crash test sense. When the JK first came out in 2007 they used a minivan 60 degree V6 originally designed in the early 80s instead of the newer 3.7 liter

My main point was that you should include the manifolds on the V8 when comparing to a pentastar with integrated manifolds.. I have a JK and there isn’t much room in the engine compartment. I’m not sure of the reason for not offereing a V8, but the Wrangler is a narrow vehicle compared to anything with a V8 plus it has

It’s not just overall width and the pentastar has integrated exhaust manifolds in the heads. It has a lot to do with the steering shaft/frame rail interference with the exhaust manifold/headers for a V8.

I disagree completely, as long as the tires don’t blow out or have major failures there is nothing wrong with cheap tires. Lack of grip is not a failure, driving your car too fast for the conditions is. If you take the logic to the extreme everyone should have sports cars because they handle and stop better then

Not enough room for a factory 90 degree V8, which is why they only have used 60 degree V6s for the JK. Sure you can fit a V8 in a wrangler but I doubt it will ever be a factory job.

What happens if you use the left lane to pass but you don’t go the speed limit like every trailer pulling truck has to on a hill? Does that mean that semis cant use the left lane either?

True dat! I have the scar to prove it. I oversteered a truck drivers door right into a concrete footed pole. Door window went through my hand as I was still holding the steering wheel. Luckily because of the bench seat my hand and a bruise from the gear stick on my thigh were my only injuries. Truck frame was in a U

Awesome video, I wonder if they have done something similar for the current crop of F1 drivers.

I just wanted to point out that understeer is not the enemy of “every driver” because it’s more easily controlled then oversteer. Before stability control became as adavanced as it is all manufacturers set cars up to understeer on purpose because it doesn’t cause complete loss of control of a vehicle unlike oversteer.

Of the reviews I read, only Jalopnik seems to really like the new NSX. I’m sure it’s cool to drive and I wouldn’t turn down an opportunity to drive one but for some reason I have zero passion towards it. Just because the old one had too long of a production to stay relavent doesn’t take anything away from how iconic

These NSX articles make it seem like you are Acura’s payroll. It seems the public has already voted and not buying while they can’t make enough Ford GTs.

It’s simple supply and demand. Any system divie up the cars is going to have downsides and unhappiness. People are unhappy with Fearris system as well. FCA should build more, or charge more if they want to control the market, otherwise dealers will do it for them. Even if FCA sold direct people would be unhappy

Yeah I don’t get it. As a farmer with countless chevys and fords with well over 200k in the dust and extended idling with nothing but oil changes these trucks have been dead reliable. Not the diesels mind you, they all break. I mean Toyota can’t even design a timing chain and goes the cheap route with a belt still!?
