I think you are reading way too much into my post. My point was simple, in order for all the Vspec Cadillacs and all Camaros to exist is GM needs to sell a lot of cars based on the same platform. I’m not interested in any “enthusiast” car based on a front drive SUV platform. So basically I want GM to be able to sell

I haven’t read any article that puts the EB Mustang in a glowing light either. I haven’t driven one so I don’t know from personal experience. It seems the V6 Camaro is a way better car though more expensive.

I think it shows the fact that consumers are stupid and shouldn’t be allowed to buy inferior cars because it makes it harder for the enthusiasts. Its like plasma tvs, most people prefer the picture quality of plasma TVs over LCD in blind tests, but plasmas look dim in a bright store with all the LCDs on torch mode.

Confusing isn’t it, torque and work/energy have the same units. I think the convention is lb-ft for torque and ft-lb for work/energy but that isn’t there for any other reason then to keep them straight. Torque is actually equal to distance vector cross force vector and work is distance vector dot force vector.

Lol, you’re right it was a cheap shot.

NM, you already said it.

Why are we comparing the performance of used to new? It generally never is a fair comparison for performance.

You might as well save your money and buy an actual performance car if that’s what you want.

Rally cars have the same feature, if you are pulling the handbrake you are probably over steering not under steering.

Yeah, it’s like let’s fuck up the metric system to be more like the imperial system, kgf it is.

A crotch rocket is even faster for 10-15k less then a WRX.

It reminds me of the Chevy SS but that car has a V8 and a manual which for me is the trump card.

You forgot bumpers, tires, wheels, suspension, lights. It just seems odd to declare a vehicle not interesting because it’s always customized, how does that make sense. The opposite isn’t true so it seems there is another reason the author finds the JK uninteresting. I can only guess qty because Jeep sells the shit out

To be honest, it’s hard to make a Jeep Wrangler JK interesting; all the aftermarket outfitters have been going apeshit with the platform ever since it launched for 2007. Seriously, a Wrangler with 40-inch tires, a Hemi V8, a fancy Atlas transfer case, Dana 60 axles and light bars out the wazoo barely makes me even

Dirt bikes or any vehicle used in the dust most surely do not use a cotton gauze filter. They use oiled foam which is actually at least 10 times thicker then a K&N. And K&N don’t actually start to filter till they load up with dirt, so until that happens they let that dirt into your engine, by that time there flow

So based on the fact it took 50k for the filter to become dirty enough to clean do you think it is actually filtering out all the dirt?

Did anyone pass anybody on track?

You do get that Focus ST shares parts with the bazillion other Focuses right? It’s all about volume and why custom anything costs so much money. Focus STs are great cars but they aren’t the same thing as a BRZ/86 just because it’s cross shopped.

I think this car calls for a increase in displacement to 2.5 to get 250 NA Hp. Subaru already said there is no room for a turbo and 250 HP all motor will keep this car balanced and only increase the torque on the power train by 25%.

You got my point, the LT4 and Voodoo are extremely high tech.
