One of the best things about those second wave ska bands is in addition to the music, they were anti-racist because so many of them were made up of white guys from punk bands and black guys from reggae bands. Different people coming together makes the world beautiful. It’s why the chess board is the ska symbol.

Darn, they were great. I saw them a few years ago with my son in Milwaukee. So fun. Such great music. Hard not to dance.

Bernie was one of only two Senators (along with Rand Paul) to vote against Russian sanctions. He is dead to me. I supported him in 2016 and even went to his rally in Madison.

Worth noting, 35 years ago March 2, 1984 the movie Spinal Tap was released.

I appreciate the classical and although I mostly post early 80s new wave punk. I have posted some classical in particular opera. The aria of The Queen of the Night from Mozart’s The Magic Flute has been known to get stuck in my head on occasion, also Eine Klein Nachtmuzik, but it is so catchy.
