Guy got more money for his Jeep than he was asking. Cool Commercial was made. Beer was likely bought. A new Jeep was made out of the Steel from the crushed Crushed Jeep and David can save in 30 years. Circle of Life.

I worked in the commercial production business for 35 years and I can offer up two observations for free; Jeep/FCA had nothing to do with this except write a check and probably approve the final. Also, the advertising agency (DDB) and the production company, who were actually responsible for this project, could give a

This isn’t making a Miata look like something else.  This is building a car and using a Miata as an organ donor for many of the parts.

I think it’s a bit misleading. The “Starter Kit” for less than $11K is missing a tons of the parts needed to complete the car as shown. If you look at Mr. Anstead’s website, you can see that all the other extra kits will be offered in 2021 at prices as yet to-be-determined. Can you say “scope creep”?

I’ve had mine since December 2012. Love it. Often get questions about it and compliments for it (Pre-COVID).

“The interior design was just a hot mess, too. Toggles, buttons, and switches galore—all without a coherent sense of order or organization. The Mini Cooper Coupe is one of the few cars in this world whose

How about:

BMW owner: I am a divorce lawyer.

Jeep owner: I probably need a divorce lawyer.

Between this and the "ok boomer" responses they were sending out to anyone that criticized the big grille... I think BMW really needs to reevaluate its social media strategy

BMW asks what it’s like to own a BMW, expressly saying BUT DON’T TELL US YOU DRIVE A BMW.

Unclear, Jeep or BMW?

This was my contribution at the time :)

Many Wrangler drives do in fact think this way.  Ironically its all the newcomers with JK’s and JL’s.

*because my loan has a 17% interest rate and I can’t afford to.

I put the timing chains on the BACK of the engine!

I don’t wash my ride because it makes it look like I go off-road.

I hope VW/Audi do this soon.

I had to do this to get access to two Power Steering hoses that were 30 years old and leaking. But it also got me access for my hood release cable which stunningly hard to replace. About 30 Minutes to denose it, not as easy as an Audi or VW,

I had to tear the frontend and half the engine of my car off to replace a plastic coolant pipe.

That guy Todd really knows his stuff. :)
