She was certainly an highlight of The Silencers (1966), co-starring with Dean Martin. And she brought some class to Cleopatra Jones and the Casino of Gold (1975).

He supposedly liked the Justice League United Episode ‘For the Man that Has Everything’ back in 2004; well, at least he allowed himself to be credited in the episode credits.

‘...took a left turn into weirdville.’

What? Has no one seen The Stuff (1985)?

Calling Boimler’s holodeck stand-in Shempo was a burn.

She’s a lot of fun (along with a game Oliver Reed) in The Assassination Bureau (1969).  It’s a fine historical, action, comedy romp.

Possibly one of the most melancholy ani — nah, shows ever. I loved the sound track so much I bought the cd.

Happy to say I own most of the movies listed (75-80%-ish). A little disappointed not to see Taxi (1998) or any Jackie Chan (just watched Armor of God (1986) and Armour of God II: Operation Condor (1991) earlier this week, but there’s only some much space/time I suppose.

Don’t know what episodes they have for streaming (you can find most of these on youtube or shoutfactorytv anyway), so here’s six monster movies split evenly between Joel and Mike:

How about Tashlin’s The Glass Bottom Boat (1966)? I think Frank Tashlin qualifies as an “idiosyncratic director.”

Farscape “Unrealized Reality”. Interestingly, this episode has more in common with Community’s “Remedial Chaos Theory”, than with most of the other episodes listed.

Anyone who wants to make a Daikaiju on this side of the Pacific should be required to watch/study Kaneko’s Gamera trilogy.

“The Colour Out of Space” is probably Lovecraft’s most adapted story. I can rattle three off the top o’ my head:

Very Tati-esque, Mon Oncle, in particular.

I remember being the only person in the theater who laughed when Bright Eyes started playing on Grommit's radio.

From the clips, two more are The Time Travelers (1964), a solid slice of b-movie sci-fi, that is ripe for riffing and Starcrash (1978), which, Caroline Munro notwithstanding, is just ripe. Couldn't id the clip with the two women, though it looked familiar.

Well, when the time came Captain Marvel (Genis) used a pillow I think, though it was implied. Mind you, it was his son…and it was more like returning to his present to do the deed.

Is it as good as any of the Heisei Gamera movies?
