That actually scares me more. On an individual level, yeah, it’s terrifying. But we’re already hurtling towards a situation where nobody trusts anything or anyone. Nothing is real. It’s gonna be fucked up. It’s already fucked up.

Fair point. And the only people who can conceivably be cancelled are left-wing or marginalized people to begin with. Steven Crowder? Never. Ben Shapiro? Never. You literally have to be a child molester (c.f. Milo) to get cancelled on the right.

It seems to me like YouTube cancel “culture” is a bit like the French Revolution. I mean, yeah, you can run anyone through the purity meat grinder and come up against some gristle, but eventually you’re gonna look in the mirror and see Robespierre and realize that things got out of hand pretty quick.

From this point on, I suspect his life is going to be a cycle of spirals into oblivion followed by posts like this where he apologizes, claims to have been redeemed by God and one good woman and promises to become the man he was meant to be.
