What I disliked the most about him in S1 was how he was so "nice guy" with women. In S2 he began to actually see women as people and actually see them as they were instead of putting them on pedestals only to knock them off when they proved fallible. So now I actually care about him too.

It's not like there's anyone who could contradict whatever story she gives.

K, re Aka Manto, what if you say nothing and pull up your pants and get the hell out of there?

Or "Talking Thrones"

Given that the oddsmaker actually likes the insufferable Sand Snakes, I guarantee you s/he's not watching the show.

He's the reason why I tune in, and sometimes Nick. They better not have Strand end up dying to save any of these pendejos.

I guess the same magic that gave Alicia that wavy yet smooth hair. I can't achieve that look in a land-locked state with John Frieda anti frizz products but she can on the sea with wind and salt.

Don't forget that not only does he not forgive Travis for shooting his mom, he actually hit him. A lot of ppl on Twitter were commenting how they'd be dead if they tried that crap.

He's still kicking around?

He's like Zach from The Strain. Die, Zach, die!

Every Pennsylvanian who isn't a student/alumni of Penn State fucking hates that place. If State College fell into a hellmouth none of the rest of us would care.

My personal fave from that one is the Lincoln Memorial/shark reenactment of The Pieta.

She promised him right before the plane went down (she apparently bought the last ticket available on the plane and felt that she denied him the right to be on the plane with at least one of his parents). And his face burned as a result of the crash.

POC and Queer people are always appreciative of well-written representation, and are very loyal audiences as long as the writers don't fuck it up. Add those two together? Yeah, FTWD isn't going to suffer.

Ugh, for that awful line alone the Sand Snakes deserve to die horribly. Haaaaate.

I'm less annoyed with new Strawberry Shortcake than them making Dora a pre-teen.

Eh, the plane story wasn't too bad. Its brevity kept the main characters from being too annoying.

I think people in the younger demos (I'm Gen X so I'm including young adults as well) are more used to anime styling while I enjoy that as well as older stuff. Now if you're talking about the G 3.5 ponies, pretty much every fan agrees they're horrific: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/R…

My mom and I watch it together (I'm a total Twilight Sparkle; she's Applejack). I was ten when the toys came out in the 80s, so I'm part of the original demographic. I try to avoid going grumpy grandma when new fans diss the original ponies.

It's possible that in the books Melisandre burns Shireen without Stannis' approval. It's easier to ask for forgiveness instead of permission.
