Maybe it was a little needlessly rude to Jenkins and the rest of the film’s creators, but I don’t think he was wrong, and I think he does have a point.

I was actually surprised that they got into it as much as they did! As an avid BIP watcher, I was having some mixed feelings about watching this season, but the fact that consent, race, and slut-shaming all came up had me very pleasantly surprised!
Was it done in the perfect manner? No. Is there a bigger discussion…
‘I mean, they’re just jokes. There’s not actual Nazis out there, what are you talking about?’
I remember back when everything happened in February, I was sort of like, ‘I mean, they’re just jokes. There’s not actual Nazis out there, what are you talking about?’
I didn’t take that away at all - I felt they defended DeMario more vociferously because the press release claiming her victim-hood may have unintentionally victimized him.
The whole sit down session felt very gross to me, like overly coached PR talking points to appear culturally and socially sensitive. Taylor, talk about how no one forces you to drink, Alex, talk about the importance of consent, Raven, make sure you bring up your prior sexual assault.
Everyone can move lightening fast except Gray Worm. Apparently he can neither move nor send word in the time it takes Jon to circle the continent a few times, and Jaime to bring *1000* carriages across it.
I think this, along with what we’re seeing played out between Sansa and Arya, is going to be one of the problems with shorter seasons and moving the storylines along faster.
That and Jorah not noticing Longclaw are two things that might have gotten sacrificed to the gods of “oh my god Dragon CGI is expensive” along with poor neglected Ghost, abandoned and likely chained to a post somewhere in Winterfell.
I was also annoyed and surprised by that!
*shoves fingers in ears* I CAN’T HEAR YOU LA LA LA LA LA THEY’RE GOING TO LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER
Eta: I think he wouldn’t bring up Arya because, if she is dead, it’s at least partially because he failed to protect her. Yes, he was taken by Melisandre, but he’d freely chosen to abandon Arya for the Brotherhood first,…
I know. You spent 2 seasons with Arya. She got you out of Harrenhal. She taught you how to sword fight.
The prevailing theory is that Gendry, like the rest of Westeros, thinks Arya is dead, and finds it too painful to talk about her.
because Page Six clicked publish, and then i clicked publish
The ride isn’t an historically accurate representation of the 1600s, it’s a romanticized tribute to “A Pirate’s Life,” which includes ghosts, shanties, and (now) Captain Jack Sparrow.
Am I the only one that was driven to distraction with anger at the fact that the Doctor - upon realizing the time displacement - felt the need to spend a full seven minutes or whatever on an explanation to the dumb people with him? Jump in the effing lift and tell them on the way down, you tool!
Warner Brothers investigated Warner Brothers and found that nothing bad happened at a Warner Brothers job-site, clearing Warner Brothers of any wrongdoing.
