Oh man, the nostalgia! I was 11 when the Genesis came out and my brother and I got one for Christmas. It’s still at my parents’ house, I believe. I have got to pull it out and play this again. I seem to recall Spring Yard Zone was my favorite.

The Jeep Wrangler and Chevy Silverado are both definitely on the mark. I’ve done a lot of typical maintenance on my Silverado and it’s all been simple and straightforward. Only one item I’ve worked on required a specialty tool and that was the oil pressure sending unit which needs a very thin-walled socket, which I…
The traditional community that has been into offroading has long been into custom fabrication and home-built rigs. I wouldn’t hesitate to install a suspension kit on a Jeep that required some cutting and welding. Most of those wrangler suspension kits, E.G. Long Arm kits, are already “engineered”. You just need to…
That car would be a buy at like $2,000-$3,000. I’d take off the Ferrari badges and drop the pretensions and just have a fun car. As advertised? No freaking way. If you want a car because you want to appear fancier than you are, this car will not do that for you.
Ok, seriously? 3,500 lbs of towing capacity does not make a suitable tow vehicle. My flatbed trailer weighs 1,750 completely empty. That leaves you only 1,750 of available payload.
I predict a lot of responses from people who don’t tow often or are only talking about tiny loads. Anyone who has towed anything heavy with regularity will tell you that any vehicle can pull a load. It’s stopping that load that is key, followed closely by handling the load at speed.
As an owner of a lifted, modified, heavily abused (back in the day) XJ, I agree. All the fancy wranglers on the roads these days are just for hodads. You never see them back on the trails.
He’s talking about the people that don’t do oil changes, brake pads, or tires and then complain when they have issues.
Uh, False.
It’s pretty simple. Harleys are entirely about image and appearance. That explains why there is so much HD merchandise sold. That’s also why 99% of the accessories are cosmetic or make it louder instead of improving handling or performance. It’s a lifestyle more than it is a motorcycle.
You’ve read my mind again, DeMuro. I pity you if you know any of the other, sick stuff floating around up there.
If you think it’s beautiful from the top, you should see it from the bottom. I floated through the Grand Canyon on a guided raft trip and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. There are so many hidden wonders in the canyon that are only accessible from the river. Hiking down in will give you a feel for it…
I had the pleasure once of landing at the airport in Memphis in a private plane. While walking to the FBO a C5-B took off right freaking next to us. The sound those engines made will forever be etched into my memory. It was truly awe inspiring.
The cab and chassis also make for a great flatbed car hauler after you pull that box off the back. Many a rock crawler has been hauled on a repurpose uhaul truck.
Winner!!!
Good freaking luck. This may be news to you but a great number of people with felony convictions are caught illegally carrying guns every day and they still get bonded out of jail or paroled and go right back to illegally carrying and using guns. If the laws we have were actually enforced we would already solve 90% of…
I haven’t had the pleasure of looking inside a new GT-R but I’m pretty certain those paddle shifters are exactly the same as I have in my G37S, which shouldn’t come as much surprise.
That thing is a crime against humanity! Anyone insane enough to perpetrate that monster upon us must be punished harshly.
If the hatch counts as a door, so then should the trunk lid, tailgate, or hood of other vehicles.
They’re completely moot for a different reason. Between my cranked stereo and my car’s sound insulation I usually don’t hear bikes unless they’re directly in front of me.
