Why they didn’t make that a joint funeral was...beyond me.

If trans would finally get me the cybernetics I so desire then sign me the fuck up!
Following Caitlin’s example, I’ll pick one from fantasy lit too: McAnally’s Pub from The Dresden Files. It has the kind of aesthetic and subduedness that I so love, plus a bartender that doesn’t bother you, knows his steaks and really knows his beer. And knowing you’re safe from any supernatural warring is a nice plus…
Higher resolutions or not, screens still beam light directly into my eyeballs. That my biggest problem with ‘em. I get enough of that on a day-to-day basis, y’know.
No thanks. My love for comics doesn’t need much reinvigoration, it’s plenty alive, and I don’t think the tactile feel is an empty cliche either. Printing and colour quality really makes a difference. Panel isolation also doesn’t have much appeal to me, considering that a lot of comics I read use panel-to-panel…
Sooo... does this mean there won’t be a trade of it? I don’t know much about that Comixology stuff, and I never buy single issue comics. But the few panels in this review alone hooked me. I’m a real gut-feeling-comics buyer. But I do only buy trades, and am not that big on subscriptions for this kinda thing.
Brubaker, Refn -and- Martinez? I did not know I wanted this utterly perfect combination until I learned of it. It makes me feel just... so goddamn happy already.
400 Viewings of just Casablanca and Citizen Kane? That sounds almost obsessive! Just to think of all the new (well, new for me, not necessarily recent releases) experiences I could have in that time...
Yeesh. Boring white dude music? Man why ya gotta be like that? That’s just uncalled for. I mean shit with the lyrics and just the way it sounds I can’t imagine using it as D&D BGM either, but it makes for a cool theme song for a certain campaign alright.
Man, Mads has been in quite a few stinkers lately, hasn’t he? I wonder how that happened.
Hold on, so Project Blue Book is going to be a full-fledged drama series? Not some counter-factual pseudo-documentary? I certainly hope so. I love UFO crap and they’ve made a show before with Vikings.
One of my favourite Twitch people does a monthly “New Movie Trailers And Nostalgia Tangent” liveshow, and we got to the trailer for this at one point. He followed it up with the trailer for the documentary about the actual guy.
True, I used a bit of an exploit to get the roster real quick, and right now I feel kind of overwhelmed with all the characters I have. I haven’t played Smash since Melee, so I have no idea how the vast majority of these characters play. So now I’m sitting here, stiff with analysis paralysis, trying out a different…
I’m glad I’m not the only one who gets his ass handed to him by the AI. I know it’s my first Smash since Melee, but good god I didn’t expect to get beaten into the dirt that hard.
“Fine” is... pushing it. At best he’s a Chaotic Neutral bull in a china shop, and that’s at best. His charity donations don’t suddenly make his shitty behaviour okay. It just makes him a multifaceted individual.
I’ll be so mad if they mess up the jeet-kun-do.
Well, shit. I hate to admit it but unlike Frank I didn’t get it. And that makes me so sad. I had no idea what the choreography was supposed to mean, I’m blind to what Perkins sees in their movement. I never thought I’d be jealous of Frank Reynolds of all people... Leave it to Varúð to royally fuck me up every time…
Sure, we don’t watch films, or consume any art for that matter, in a vacuum. But that doesn’t suddenly make it fair to judge a work by something it had no part in and doesn’t seem to perpetuate either. Reading about this whole affair I think the links with the Kavanaugh situation that the reviewer tries to make are…
Honestly, sweeping historical epicness combined with stylised martial arts scenes is basically part and parcel of the wuxia scene, so I was all up in that shit.
Pity too, if only because that show actually put cool wire-kung-fu on the small screen.
