I didn’t read this line as retrograde ignorance. I read it as a hint to the identity of the individual - someone who is known in the industry as gay but has never come out officially. Just one reader’s interpretation.

Maybe that was one of his many abuses, as in that movie Haim would have been older that 11, I think? It’s really horrible, that poor kid.

Haim actually lived with Downey after the movie for about a month and half. Downey would certainly be considered “A-List”.

Sometimes I feel like tabloids upgrade actors to A list in order to get a bigger story. They already stretch the truth with terms like ‘mega star’ or “hollywood powerhouse”. No one would give a shit if it was “Guy who used to be super famous but is slowly fading from glory”

Yeah, that’s my first thought too. A lot of the actors that are being suggested would have only been 20 years old or so at the time. I have a feeling it’s an old producer/director who is still working on big movies.

I feel like the John Travolta name has something to it, but can’t pinpoint why.

I thought this too, but now I wonder if this is a hint ... that Radar knows the abuser to be a closeted gay.

“The closeted perv has never come out as gay”

Because he very well may not be; being a child predator /= gay. Abusive sex is about power, not identity.

“...The closeted perv has never come out as gay — and even has children of his own....”

He doesn’t necessarily have to be gay to be a pedophile.

How can money be put in her commissary account?

same. i hate the complaints that characters’ apartments aren’t realistic. if they weren’t spacious, all we’d be getting are close up shots because if they pan out, we’ll see outside the set.

If I had access to GT, I wanted to write a rant about this very thing.

A good third of why I’m watching almost any show is the *fantasy* of having a much better home than I could afford IRL. The lack of realism is draw of tv, no?

Yes!!!! I eat like that, too, Gilmores, but it’s why my doctor feels the need to discuss the weight loss programs available through my insurance every single time I go in. Yes, even that time I just needed some antibiotics for my ear infection.

I try not to let it bother me that Liz Lemon & Leslie Knope would probably clock in at a sold three bills in reality.

More than the apartments, I’m more annoyed by the “quirky female character who eats a lot of greasy, fatty food but maintains perfect skin and stays slim” trope. She’s not shallow like those salad eating bitches, she just LOOKS like them.

Elliot Reid was the best part of that show. Janitor schmanitor.

Also, this is a particularly great social media round up with a lot of great Trump burns.

I don’t know when I started finding Zach Braff so heinous, but I think it was even before he asked fans for donations to fund his movie. I do still have love for Turk and JD though. Eeeeeagle!

At this point there have been so many lawsuits about various products I’m surprised anyone would trust Honest Company anymore.
