I’m not sure if Colorado is the worst, but its pretty bad here. Grew up in NH which had some of the best and well maintained roads, but here in CO, not only has there been multiple votes to fund maintaining the roads that have gotten voted down because “taxes”, but the designs here are just plain stupid. Constantly

Honestly, I am shocked. I always had an image of Bill Gates as a harmless Mr. Rogers type who just happened to also be a billionaire tycoon. Family man who made his riches and didn’t divorce in favor of a trophy wife (*cough, Bezos, cough*). Guess he was just the prototype tech bro all this time, and that’s sad.

How is the Expanse not on here? The Battle of Thoth Station, The Attack on the Donnager and easily one of the best of all time, Free Navy vs Rocinante

Umm...

I have loved cars forever. I can’t remember a car I didn’t love. I do remember watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang when I was tiny too. So, maybe this one?

I’m going to have to disagree.  IP is what gives me a large paycheck.

You can dislike the message all you want but his point is that independent voters and centrists don’t care about the things that the far left (and, unspoken, the far right) does and they are susceptible to soundbites and messaging that will sway them; the GOP has been pivoting to America-centric populism and they are

Husavik seriously needs a win, I cry every time I hear that song. I can’t help it, the water just starts flowing and if that kind of emotional response isn’t deserving of an Oscar I’m not sure what is!

I need to watch Eurovision Song Contest again. That movie was great.

This is going to be worse than Trump.

I look forward to future interviews with cast member, as they recollect about Musk when asked about their worst host experiences. I imagine it’ll be something like, “he didn’t understand what the punchline was, and called me a pedo.”

Of all the things attributable to climate change, the magnetic poles moving differently is definitely one of the weirder ones.

It kinda tickles me that so much of high-energy physics seems to amount. very broadly, to breaking things apart and seeing what happens, or smashing things together and seeing what happens.

I can’t begin to tell you how deeply screwed up that ending left a 6-year old me when this came out.   The bad guy literally IN HELL encased in the body of the killer robot he created.

Having grown up in Michigan, I agree with you on the Michigan Left. However, I would also suggest the Diverging Diamond. It has proven to be effective in reducing accidents, especially left turn accidents, but it’s probably more confusing than a roundabout for first timers. MoDOT constructed the first one in

Left lane exits (in US) on highways.

It was written for Mortal Kombat: The Album, a (wonderfully awful) tie-in record made to promote the release of the original game on SNES/Genesis.

The Mortal Kombat OST is the first CD I ever bought.

Meh. I’m not impressed.

More than a slight decrease. Cell networks depend upon the GPS satellites for their extremely precise timing, necessary for functions like cell hopping and channel changes. As the article mentions, losing the timing signal would have a profound effect before long.
