The worst is this is on almost all new cars today. Every time I see those fake chrome exhaust tips that the exhaust just kind of dumps into covered in black soot I die just a little bit inside.

Thank legal departments for a lot of these. As pipes become more prominent, it becomes easier for people to burn themselves. I’ve been told it’s a big reason new AMG’s have mufflers that aren’t connected to the “exhaust tips” which are just part of the bumper.

I don’t recall anyone freaking out when the Beetle and Corvair showed up without grilles. WTF is wong with people these days?

Fake exhaust tips are bad, but when Tesla doesn’t put a fake grille on the cars, everyone freaks out.
