It has been pretty obvious he has a screw loose since he did a print interview years ago and stated that he removed the rearview mirror from his car because he always wanted to be looking forward and not back. It turns out this was literally true and not just a metaphor.

If only there was a way....perhaps some sort of marking....that could go on uniforms so that officials wouldn’t have to rely on players’ faces to tell players apart. After all, what’s the official scorer to do when all he hears is “two shots.......foul on the kid with the acne.....”

About 60% of college football players are black, and college football playing experience (unlike pro playing experience) is a prerequisite for nfl head coaching gigs - virtually all nfl head coaches played in college - so that reframing doesn’t resolve the issue.

I believe in his first press conference as chairman (or whatever his title is) Tom Ricketts said his father didn’t really want to buy the team but he showed him how much money the team made even when they lose. Tom knew/knows what he is doing, despite being a raging hypocrite

Of course it does! We live in a world where Darko Milicic and Kerry Kittles were both lottery picks, despite the fact that they played like Darko Milicic and Kerry Kittles.

Yeah dunno why teams are so loathe to use their G-League affiliates.

Especially in the Knicks case since Westchester is just like an hour away. No reason Frank can’t play down there, but still come up for Knicks games.

Raptors used FVV/Wright/Siakam and Poeltl as big parts of winning a D-League championship, then

I was in a major wreck six years ago. Lots of little things may have made the difference between a perfectly normal rest of my life and a dirt nap. One thing I know is if I hadn’t worn a seat belt, I’d definitely be dead.

In Ray Rice’s last year at age 26 he had 214 rushes for 660 yds (3.1 ypc) and 58 receptions on 72 targets for 321 yds in 15 games.

I don’t want to dismiss this but this and every other sort of compromise solution that gets kicked about always defers way too much to the schools and their cries about the sanctity of amateurism. The players are adults and citizens, they should be allowed to negotiate their own wages or be part of a collective

The Sixers are 5-2 since the trade and Butler’s hit two game-winning shots, so what the absolute fuck are you talking about?

You’re right. I’m sure he did that Nike campaign gratis.
(And by the way, don’t worry: You don’t sound racist at all.)

Objectively, yea the game was entertaining as hell. Probably one of the better games I’ve seen out of my alma mater (UMD) in quite some time. But the decision to put this on ABC was pretty bad.

Presuming to correct a stranger on the matter of his own race based on a thumbnail photo you saw of him is an incredible fucking take, man.

He had the whole thing written already; just wrote in a little nonsense at the beginning that justified (to him, at least) his posting of it.

Even if no superstar decides to sign with the White Sox, because they won’t, it’s just nice to have my team talked about every once and awhile

Yeah, unless or until they actually sign the guy it’s not worth worrying about. I wouldn’t mind having that problem.

All indications are that they don’t want to drop a massive amount of money into a long term deal, like what Harper is asking for. You can pay out the ass in luxury tax, but at some point enough is enough. But yeah, it could 100% be a bunch of Theo bullshit and he could sign with the Cubs tomorrow for all we know.

Can you clarify where they bungled chapman? He was with the Reds at the time and then was traded to the Yankees when suspended. I just don’t recall what they did besides trade for him.
