You know what else is in the rule book?
He’s a cancer survivor. He might be an asshole, but most likely not soft.
I am just trying to point out the hypocrisy of banning the take out slide when literally dozens of guys blow their arms out throwing too much or too hard. Meanwhile the take out slide hurts a guy maybe once a year if that. Chapman throws hard and baserunners use the take out slide both to gain a competitive advantage.
Holy shit is this a long winded, rambling and yet somehow, an incredibly incomplete thought.
Throwing a baseball 100 MPH is of course not natural. I am making fun of Emma’s previous article:
They should really review this whole “Pitcher” thing in baseball. Seems like a lot of these guys are hurting their arms.
Yes, the NFL is so good at dealing with OT.
Your math is suspect. 10% of all take out slides lead to injury. Okay, lets say their is just one of those a game. MLB plays 2,430 games a year, 10% of that is 243. You are telling me 243 guys a year get hurt with a take out slide a year, x 100 plus years of baseball, you are talking about 24,300 baseball players…
Counterpoint. Physical activity sometimes end up in injuries including broken legs and torn MCLs.
Man talks shits to two football players at a bar = dumb.
Quinn Snyder watching game film:
So your solution is don’t pimp the home run and just start a brawl? That’s playing baseball right?
Maybe I am only watching for it because Fred Hoiberg mentioned it, and maybe everyone else does it too, but man was that a discontinued dribble when he crossed over Morris.
Serious question, who gives a shit?
Pat Beverly wins this hands down. He had the stats, comedic timing and the series win.
What about if you are smoking weed to help deal with the pain of getting your head smashed in? Is that okay with you and the league? Or is that too dangerous and they should just stick to those super addictive pain killers the trainers hand out like skittles?
Translate this into Emojis and you might have a chance.
