I keep forgetting that Jezebel is just an aggregate of personal blogs with no editorial viewpoint or oversight. (Haha, kidding. I’m constantly reminded that they don’t have editors anymore.)

Yeah, it’s mostly downhill. SNS is dead (we have a new SNS on GroupThink 2.0). Even the occasional meaty article will have less than 20 comments. SNS used to have 1,000 comments by Sunday afternoons.

I’d take a gander and say that’s a normal amount of time for grandkids to not ring their grandmother.

Look, all that title got Prince Harry is a lot of family trauma and a podcast.

Maybe they can go on the next episode of Archetypes with Harry and Meghan and they can all talk about how they don’t care about the titles, actually they didn’t even want those titles, but it’s terrible they don’t have the titles... not that they care of course.

If I know my Shakespeare....there should be a poisoning here in a month or so with an additional years worth of wordy lamentations before a descent into madness/suicide with a bit of scenery chewing.

RIP Jezebel and all the other G/O sites. It’s hard to believe that just a few years ago stories would generate hundreds of comments and sustained discussion. Now you see 3, maybe 4 comments on a story. It’s amazing how quickly they torpedoed the entire family of sites.
